| continental-line chapter 8 . 3/9
I first found this story on FanFicAuthors but could find no way to leave a review. I found it here on FanFiction and had to read it through before leaving a review. The story is just too good to stop reading to do so. Now I'll havo to look at your other works.
| MSgt SilverDollar chapter 8 . 3/9
Excellent story with a great ending.
| MSgt SilverDollar chapter 6 . 3/9
JKR treated things like a loss of a pet or child abuse a trivial in canon. Hell she couldn't even come up with healthy relationships for the main characters. Ron and Hermione were at each others throats about everything that was important to the other. Hooking Harry up with Fan Slut Number One was just plain wrong based on what Harry though about fan girls through the seven books until the epilogue.

Great premise for an unusual story. Good start laying the groundwork for what is to come. I am curious how you'll handle the Weasels, Dumbnuts, and others.

Love this fic
I do not normally read post hogwarts stories, but I really enjoyed the flow and the way you adapted it to read well without hermione
Off now to look at your other stories
| Yusuke Urameshi - Mazoku chapter 2 . 1/25
You realize that the "great" Sirius caused Remus to almost kill Snape so if he was still pissed at Remus and Sirius can you blame him?
I was so happy when Sirius died I did a dance. God I hate that character. He's just an evil prejudice git who took out his angry at his family on others.

As always, this is a superb example of both storytelling & technically superior writing. The plot was certainly original - I am sure that I have not seen another story which removes Hermione completely from Harry's formative years. In a way, the two of them getting together under these circumstances almost makes more sense than if she had been there all along. The romantic nature of their adult relationship may have manifested very quickly, but since they already had a solid foundation I suppose it wasn't too surprising after all.
One thing I really did like was the decisive manner in which Harry dispatched the dark tosser. That was definitely one of the more direct & effective solutions that I have read. Well done.

Chem prof - Applause for a tale well told! Due to your narrator heavy style, longer stories suit you much better, imo. It has been suggested that stories should be carried using a minimum 30/70% dialog/narration division of prose. Without actually counting, I think your short stories might wind up as little as 10% dialog. This story certainly wasn't dialog heavy but imo much better. As I've noted before, I think you have several full length novels still in you and hope this was just a limbering up excercise before you take us on another long romantic adventure. Again, thank you for sharing another terrific short story with us!

Chem prof - I agree with your assessment of Harry's likely response to the loss of Hedwig. When I was 16 I had a peekapoo named Kimmy who was hit by a car. Kimmy and I had been together since before I can remember and I still cry whenever I think of her loss. Harry would have been terribly affected by Hedwig's death!

Think you forgot that Reducto is a pretty lethal curse. As in, it kills people. It is the magical equivalent of smashing stuff with a sledge hammer after all...
