| RedDeathLvr chapter 3 . 1/26/2012
I'm really enjoying this..a lot! Do you realize that your story is the first in which when Erik is asked what his real name is, he doesn't give it out right away? Do you know how somewhat different and refreshing that is? ;*D Not trying to be mean to other authors, but I like his standoffishness where his name is concerned. I guess I'm weird like that. ;) He's not one to want to trust someone right away, so why give his name outright. Anyway, I'm a big E/M fan too, and I hope you continue to write more POTO fics. Onto the next chapter!

I love this. I love this. I love this. So much, I just... GAH. It's so beautiful. The way you write Meg, the way you write Erik... Just wow. It's amazing, and I am actually in awe of you right now. I was going to review every chapter but I was so hooked, they all just sort of blended into one for me :D so here's an extra long one for you.
Oh where to begin?
Well firstly, I adored the way you didn't ignore all the Erik/Christine moments (mainly the cemetery scene) but sort of adapted them and added bits to make them believable within an E/M story.
Secondly, the fact that Erik was going to tutor Meg when she was little? I almost cried when I read that part. It makes their whole relationship so much more believable, and stops Meg playing second fiddle to Christine all the time.
Thirdly, the incorporation of the song that was deleted from the movie. I've always thought that it was perfect for Meg, not so much for Christine. I don't know, I have just always seen Meg as the comforting one who understands Erik and shares his pain.
Well there you go. That's just some of the reasons I love this, but I writing them all down would take far too long, and I have to get dressed at some point today :P
Much love for you and you're brilliant story 3 M xo
| Non Malum chapter 11 . 12/24/2011
I usually don't review stories, but I just had to for this one. It is so expertly written, and I couldn't stop until I finished! I love how things are worded, and I found myself coo-ing during many fluffy moments.
I especially love this paragraph from the last chapter:
Erik remembered something he had once read when he was studying the works of Plato, a suggestion that each soul was divided in two and cursed to wander the earth forever until they found the other part. He had no doubts whatsoever that Plato had been correct, because there was no question that Meg was the lost half of himself. For so many years he had been trapped and alone, but she had found him, and he was pretty sure meeting her had saved his life.
Also, I have to say that your Author Notes are very amusing. They make me smile and nod in understnading for the more serious ones. I love the last chapter's author note, especially here:
Erik deserves a bit of fluff in his life after getting repeatedly screwed over by absolutely everyone.
It was sad, but true. It seems like EVERYTHING bad possible happens to him.
| Lyss chapter 11 . 11/26/2011
Before I read this I was a bit uncertain about the whole Erik/Meg thing, but I now have no problem with it. This was so fluffy and beautiful! 3 Good job!

I loved it

Incredible amazing story! I was entranced the entire time. The chemistry between to the two is perfect. Erik's feelings are portrayed very honestly and not corny as I have seen in many stories. Meg has her chance to shine in her own way, and I especially liked when she was referred to as his little sunshine in the shadows. ]
Have to say Raoul was a bit different than I imagined and so is Christine, but it is a completely different situation... And it wasn't too fast, nope not at all. I'm a very picky reader/writer when it comes to time, chemistry, the perfect words for the perfect circumstances, reactions, staying in character truly and fully. I am rarely locked into a story, as I was with yours. Phantom of the Opera never had a better ending... Screw Christine.
| Heart Speaks chapter 11 . 8/21/2011
Short and sweet, just the way it should be.
I like this a lot, and I really don't have much to criticize.
| Stained-glass-shadow chapter 11 . 8/20/2011
Hey! Wow I just realized that I have read this story five or more times and I have never reviewed! So just saying that I absolutely ADORE this story and it's one of my favorite Erik/Meg phanfics EVER! it's a fanominal story! :)

| bellephaba chapter 11 . 6/6/2011
I never thought, in a million years, that you would convert me from E/C to E/M, but...you did. Thank you so much for not rushing Erik out of his love for Christine, giving him and Meg plenty of ups and downs, and making both them fall in love with each other naturally. This is brilliant.
| Orcatje chapter 11 . 5/25/2011
I totally fell in love with your story, it is very well-writen, very deep and beautiful:) I really enjoyed reading it!
I could say a lot more, but I think this covers it;)
| ShakesGirl chapter 11 . 5/19/2011
This is a great story! The writing is great and it talks of the Phantom's general crazyness, that some fics ignore. Having said that I would like to state my opinione that Meg- Erik fics confuse me. Greatly. The only time Meg sees Erik he is
A. Scaring and killing people with a light fixture.
B. Trying to kidnap Meg's best friend.
C. Wearing a costume of a fictional illness and trying to kidnap Meg's best friend.
Or Meg is leading a mob down to his lair to arrest/kill him. They never actually talk, and Meg seems terrified of him. Secondely, why would Meg feel over shadowed? Christene is the best singer, but Meg is the best dancer. The managers coment on how good she is, and she's in the ballets. Great Story!
| Telepathapprentice chapter 11 . 5/1/2011
Very very good...the intertwining with the actual story worked well, and despite the fact that Erik has killed, he is able to live a normal life, even with his mask...so good.
| Telepathapprentice chapter 8 . 5/1/2011
I love their signing. Only thing worthy of note to say in this totally inadequate review. It broke my heart in a good way...i love Meg/Erik!
