Cyborg 009 is my childhood anime. I started rewatching it a few days ago, but finished reading the manga much earlier.

Wonderful job, 002 never really does show a lot of weaknesses (or tries not to) but you can always tell he really cares for the group and growing up without any family and in New York, he wouldn't have know a lot of love or what it means to be a family. Lossing someone would suck. It's easy to be worried about someone when they're hurt, it's not always easy to forgive them for getting hurt or yourself for not protecting them. I think it's time for a group hug!

A very touching story and I like the fact that it has 002 and 004 portraited in a very non-yaoi/shounen-ai way. Thanks for that. You captured Jet's emotional turmoil very well and realistically, I can tell, I've lived trough a loss of a close person and it really is much like you described here. I like this piece as it is, pure and simple, it doesn't need to be continued, at least in my opinion that is, but thank you nonetheless for this piece, it made me cry, remembering my own losses, but in a good way and I feel relieved.

This is a fantastic little piece you've written. The emotion comes through very potently, and both character's react to each other perfectly. I like the concept too, it fits so well with the characters and the series that it seems quite real.
