| plainjanedee chapter 8 . 8/10/2014
I really enjoyed this story. Loved it, all the way through. Through Chapter 8. Which is the end. There is no more story after this. They live happily ever after and have lots of sex and babies. Nothing else happens. THE END.
| Guest chapter 5 . 11/30/2013
Bella needs to understand that being "human" is a GOOD thing. Bella thinks love should be like in the classic romances she reads. Books like Wuthering Heights. In those stories love is equated to how much pain your beloved makes you feel. Those are not love stories, they are warnings of what love should NOT be. But lets face it. Bella is a bit uh... Screwy. Yea - lets say screwy.
(Or the writer here is.) Anyway, I never got Bella's view that she could not "physically" live without Edward. I understand he was nice to look at. But they never really had a whole bunch of common ground to build that strong of a connection. Well, besides the fact that she never seemed to have much of an clue of who she really is. I mean Edward was dishonest, manipulative, controlling, obsessive and really really creepy. He belittled Bella's intelligence and judgement and made her feel unattractive and weak. I totally understand how you could fall madly in love with some one like that. But then again Bella thought that was Edward just being loving and protective so there you go. Why would Bella want some-one like Jacob who while every bit as beautiful as Edward made Bella feel all too HUMAN. Jake never held back with Bella, never held her at arms length, never treated her as a fragile little porcelain doll. Jake empowered her to do new and different things yet to always just be herself. She could not be like that with Edward. Bella basically being a coward however - this all scared the crap out of her. The love she had for Jacob required taking a chance. A leap of faith that Jake would always be there. Being with Edward was the easy choice. She KNEW that Edward would always be there. No guesswork, no need to take a chance. Becoming a vampire allowed her to avoid the messiness that living life entails so that also became a cowards choice.

Your a really good writer. You have a lot of he nuances of these characters in your story. However, I have a really hard time believing Bella, a shy inexperienced teenager who had never even kissed a boy until she met Edward, is going to give Jake head like a pro. It just does not work. Don't get me wrong. I love stories where Jake & Bella get together. Its just when there going at it like a pair of porn stars instead of 2 shy, fumbling, hormonal teenagers that are discovering their sexuality.
| Airhead fest chapter 2 . 11/27/2013
Angela has it wrong. It's not Jake who needs to deal. He told Bella to stay away. That is dealing. He is not coming around not calling. Thats what you do when a selfish cruel moron like Bella tells you she loves someone else more than you. It is Bella thaty needs to deal. Jake told her to stay away and thats what she should do. Of course she is to selfish to do it. Angela on the other hand is to stupid to tell Bella that she should do as Jake asks and keep away so that she might give Jake a chance to heal in peace. Nope Angela is just like "hey dont be to hard on yourself for hurting Jacob" who did nothing wrong - in fact Bella would have probably wound up killing herself if it wasn't for Jacob. But so l;ong as Bella's not hurting well its all good.
| Good Riddance chapter 5 . 11/10/2013
The problem of course being that Edward would rather feed on rats and burn in hell than do the right thing.
I have to say I like your portrayal of these characters for the most part lthough I never thought Edward capable of being selfless or noble. He played Bella like a fiddle from thr start. He did everything possible to control and manipulate her. Dishonesty, disabling her vehicle, questioning her intelligence and her judgement, belittling her opinion,s outright physical restraint, kidnapping, controlling who she could see, when and for how long and making her question her own self-worth even sexual manipulation. A person like that does not act in the best interests of others, only themselves. It's kind of like the show "The Wire" - where the game is the game.
| April-Showers82 chapter 9 . 9/8/2013
I am so glad that you changed endings. What would the point have been for Bella to have those dreams against being changed to ultimately being changed in the end? The imprinting of Jacob and Lana just hurt me so badly. It was like a slap in the face and a punch to the gut. Although, the emotional build up was awesome. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your work. Keep it up!

| northmoon01 chapter 9 . 11/9/2012
thank goodness you changed the ending. I like the other much better.
| Russomaha chapter 6 . 9/29/2012
'Hello Grandma, what big eyes you have.' That's a really nice thing you did there! As for the following scene, it was... invigorating.
| russomaha chapter 4 . 9/28/2012
Well, I don't know how I feel about seeing the words "shaft" and "Jacob" in one sentence... It's confusing. Sounds like something from that Raoul&Lavinia book.
| dancingbarefoot chapter 9 . 8/6/2012
I'd choose this ending as opposed to the other one. I love a bit of realism, and life can be this way ;unexpected and unfair. Excellent story!
| dancingbarefoot chapter 6 . 8/5/2012
His body expanded in size with anger and his eyes got a strange glow to them.
"Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf?"
| dancingbarefoot chapter 5 . 8/5/2012
Whooooaa...This chapter was pretty heavy, indeed. Edward reads as a passive aggressive abusive guy;always has. Why was Rosalie smirking at Bella? She must have known;how I don't know, but I'm guessing she did.
Can't wait to read the next chapter!
| dancingbarefoot chapter 4 . 8/5/2012
Oh man...hopefully Jacob can see Bella wants to be with him, after chapter though!
| dancingbarefoot chapter 3 . 8/5/2012
Brilliant;loved the dream sequence.
Loved the way she ran to Jacob to make it is the queen of the eleventh hour, though.
