This was such an epic story. I wish you had been able to finish it, but I am glad I got to read what was done. Thank you for taking the time to give us this adventure.

It's 6 yrs since this final chapter, as a 60 yr old man I understand the change that happens in our views of what's important to us.
As this story said many times... Family First, Last, and Forever.

I'm saddened to note the write has not updated his page in 2 yrs because of the quality of his writing.
I've tried half a dozen times to write, my attention has waxed and wained from 2 story threads for a decade. I really suck at writing.
But being retired and disabled gives my Lots of Time to binge read Good fanfic.

I've read several reviews of this chapter that we're not complimentary at all...
Like Hermione I was raised in very conservative religion. As many do we grow into adulthood and leave the restricting church. But as get to a point where we have NO control and No hope of fixing what the shit hitting the fan did... We fall back to the bare roots of who we are and seek solace in the simple way of childhood.
The old adage of "There are no atheists in fox holes". Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

No one has bothered to wonder how Voldemort stayed alive. You'd think that with the goal being to kill him they would at least make a token effort to figure out how he cheated death, or how Harry's visions through his nightmares that are no longer were or were not important. I mean he did tell them about Frank Brice though that conversation was pretty much glossed over.

So I'm a bit confused but it does happen some days too often.

Now you stated very early on that Harry used the sword on the basilisk. My confusion is that A) the Headmaster had the sword and it is never asked of him. B) The sword was never in the vault. C) Harry acts like he's never seen it or used it. D) The sword is infused with Basilisk venom as that is a key aspect of the Goblin made swrod. E) The sword is not a broad sword as a traditional 1000 year old broad sword would be nearly impossible for an average 12 year old to use let alone a stunted malnourished one that is barley just over 4 ft tall. It was originally a slim long sword just short enough that Harry could use it barley. F) Being you left the first three years to canon, there has been no real mention about the Diary, Harry's dark infused scar, or his debilitating reaction to Voldemort. In fact they just completely ignored everything. N

I find the a/ns rather funny. I agree I really can't see any ginny hate in they couple of stories of this author I've read. I agree that Hagrid doesn't bring anything to the story. Dobby is a main character in canon and I just don't see why he can't be a part of this. Laurie is a great character and Dobby being young would be a great addition. It's not like the author doesn't waste time with bunnies.

As for religion there is nothing in the story that makes it essential. It was a completely pointless addition. If you have or haven't read The queen who fell (a HP and Dragons of Pern crossover) that story shows how religion can be essential to a HP story.

As for anonymous reviews I can see both sides. I for one don't care enough to create an account on any of these sites. To me it is not only not essential to my reading but a waste of time. I do however always use the same name. It is not my fault that unlike other sites FFN doesn't allow an author to respond directly to a review.

Ah you must have forgotten again that you've stated that Dumbledore did know that Harry was physically abused. Minerva even admitted to having to go heal Harry "so many times".

So Brits don't do KPH, they drive in MPH for decades. Also Harry isn't much of a fighter, it will be interesting to see how you have Hermione kill Voldy as his "Hand".

Gasps from the crowd I hear, well Harry has yet to succeed in a fight with severe to life threatening injury. Yet Hermione has waded through all with just minor exhaustion, and she, unlike Harry has already delivered a minor whooping on V. where Harry faild to land a tickle let alone a scratch. So far she is the better everything.

For people who are always on edge and have to fear for their safety and lives they sure are a bunch of pushovers. You don't talk to strangers you stun and secure then interrogate. Having their wands drawn did them soo much good there.

The religion crap is past old at this point hope it stops.

Anyway, I'm really surprised that no one was reading the black omni book.
