Reviews for Middle earth Moments
Silivren Tinu chapter 20 . 4/2/2011
Hehe, I think that guy would be very suprised if he knew what has become of that "wild, grim fellow"! :D
Silivren Tinu chapter 19 . 4/2/2011
That was beautiful! I guess must seem to be even more of a miracle if you happen to live in such dark times as Aragorn did!
Darkover chapter 20 . 4/1/2011
Dear Linda: As always, your two most recent tales were enjoyable to read. "Rebirth" was very descriptive and heart-warming. "Well Taught" was even better. The ending made me grin, but it was also quite plausible, in view of how Tolkien portrayed Middle-Earth and the characters in it. After all, toward the end of the third novel, when the hobbits and Gandalf all stopped at the Prancing Pony before returning to the Shire, Sam had to be quite blunt in telling Butterbur that the "Strider" the innkeeper had known was in fact the new King! Thus, I am willing to bet that many of the ordinary folk, especially those who lived far from Gondor, probably never realized that Strider/Thorongil/Aragorn/etc., and King Elessar were one and the same person. Again, well done. I especially liked how "Well Taught" allowed us a glimpse of Aragorn from the POV of others. The man teaching his children the lessons taught to him by that long-ago Ranger was heartwarming. Thanks for writing and posting these stories. Sincerely, Darkover

If only he knew. LOL. Well done.
Virtuella chapter 16 . 3/28/2011
I suppose it's only fair that it's Faramir for a change who gets injured!
Virtuella chapter 18 . 3/28/2011
Delightful description of the stormy landscape!
Virtuella chapter 17 . 3/28/2011
Oh, how I sympathise with Arwen! There were moments in my early weeks with my daughter when I wished I could give her back!
Animekitty47 chapter 18 . 3/27/2011
Another cute lil drabble. :)
Animekitty47 chapter 17 . 3/27/2011
I'm guessing you had three submissions for this prompt? :P I like the second two better, mostly because you seem to revisit the first one's theme a lot. :/ Anyway, great job on them. :)
Darkover chapter 18 . 3/27/2011
Dear Linda: This brief tale was impressively descriptive. There is only one error, and it is probably a typo-"lightning" is correctly spelled without an "e." Otherwise, this story is a fine one. Thanks for writing and posting it. I look forward to more. Sincerely, Darkover
Darkover chapter 17 . 3/27/2011
Dear Linda: In this chapter, you were generous to your readers, giving us three in one! "Thine and Thy Heirs" was most enjoyable for me, as I thought it was touching as Faramir, with typical modesty and/or lack of self esteem, assumed there were others more fitted to the job of Steward-and then he realized he was meant to be the one. "The Bridegroom"-hey, you're getting daring, as Aragorn finds a person doesn't necessarily have to be prepared in order to be ready. "Ancient Wisdom" is true-to-life. All three drabbles were enjoyable to read: thank you. Sincerely, Darkover
JuliaAurelia chapter 18 . 3/27/2011
Osse doth have a sense of humor!
JuliaAurelia chapter 17 . 3/27/2011
Loved these-of course the A/A was my favorite.
Silivren Tinu chapter 18 . 3/27/2011
Well, at least Ossë seems to have a good day! *g* Poor everyone else, though.
Silivren Tinu chapter 17 . 3/27/2011
They all fit the prompt perfectly! Poor Arwen - I guess learning how to be a mother is never easy, even if you happen to be an elf and the Queen of Gondor!
