![]() ![]() Really strong start! I can’t wait for the next chapter. It was funny the part about the haunted cottage. Erik is in character: arrogant, desperate, manipulator, genius, etc as he should be. The diary was really nice idea. Really great! I love it! |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm dancing with joy~! You did it. Hurray~! Erik's Rochelle's story in up... I can't wait to see what agony or ecstacy you put him through. More please~! |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a great opening to a new story! I like learning about what has happened since Christine left to be with Raoul through Erik's diary and letters. There's something fun about pretending to read someone else's letters. (I have to say pretend, because we're dealing with a fictional character here.) Good start, and good luck with your story. I wish you many readers and reviewers! ~HD |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm thrilled that you've decided to post The Chain Unbroken on fanfic! It is sure to be a resounding success. Although I've read the story on The Write Stuff, I'm looking forward to reading and reviewing each chapter again. YAY! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "In the history of lost causes, the one dearest to me was the one with the least chance in the world of coming to fruition." Beautifully written - I could die of the angst here. Erik's diary entries betray his mood changes over time, but they are all shades of grey and black. He rails against his fate at times, and at other times mocks himself with irony - his isolation is "unfortunate for his social life." Ha! And hes living in a haunted house! I have to agree with Erik here - what an immense irony! Beautiful chapter, though chock full of angst! |
