| Whispering Darkness chapter 1 . 4/3/2012
Hehe, so there!
Lol. This story shouldn't be so funny, but the last line said it all.
Besides, it was a rather... complete showing of why Dean is more a soldier than a murderer; in one go those agents are shown both sides of the coin and that Dean is on the side of the Angels. Or atleast, one of them is on his side.
I would have enjoyed this story even more as somesort of crossover with a cop show, but as a one shot this was lovely to read.

You did pretty well. Canon was that only goofer dust could keep a hellhound away, and then only for a little while. (I'm not sure what was going on with Abandon All Hope or Crowley's pet hellhounds, because that didn't follow any canon. After all, if you could just shoot hellhounds and kill them or blow them up, anyone skilled and knowledgeable enough could get out of a deal. And if any demon can just send hellhounds after someone without any deal, why don't they send hellhounds after people all the time? But those are my issues with the show and its lack of internal consistency.)

Good story! My favorite line: "I am so not writing the report." Made me giggle!
