This is another really well done fanfic in the httyd universe. Overprotective and unhinged Astrid was great. I'm not a fan of Astrid wearing a head covering, so in my head, she had her hair alternate between her hairstyle from httyd 2 and the epilogue of httyd 3, but that is a minor nitpick. The roman characters were also great and it was nice that Hiccup still was in touch with Britannicus. Nice job on this great story.

I was not expecting Nemesis to be Valhallarama. I was kind of expecting her to be a time displaced Astrid or an alternate reality Astrid, given Nemesis' use of a double bladed axe and cold personality. Great plot twist.

I do love the poetic justice. Very amusing.

The Agrippina and Nero stuff is actually all under some pretty serious scrutiny from historians (neither were popular with the rich Patricians who wrote the histories and it’s highly likely there was more than a little character assassination involved). Also, Freki actually means “Swallow-All” it’s one of Odin’s two wolves, the other being Geri, meaning “Rumbling-Belly.” Apart from that an excellent story and very enjoyable.

Wow, actually fuck yourself. Selling Hiccup into Roman slavery, neat story, but not what I had in mind when I started it. Maybe I'll come back later and finish. Why the fuck can't anyone just make a nice story without all the dramatic bullshit?
