Reviews for The Marriage of True Minds |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for a super interesting and exiting story. I really liked your perception of the pureblood families and marriage traditions, and especially how Harry and Draco differed in their own ideas. Harry, who want a monogamous relationship, with marriage and children, but most important with love - but doesn't realize that he doesn't really have the love he want. And Draco who want a family based on values, but where monogamy and love is not necessary - without understanding what he could gain with real love. One thing I was missing though, was a small chapter, showing that Draco acknowledge that he want love in his live, how that he loves Harry. Because he seems so settle on love not being a factor at all, or that he, himself also deserve love. The beast, was what really cough my attention in your story. The fear, the darkness and helplessness was was painted very vivid and really gave the story and Harry's character strength. I am looking forward to look into other of your stories! Anne |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'd like to thank you for this beautiful work of art. Im sure I could fill volumes of superlatives and explicatives about this fic but my desire to read more of your work draws me too strongly. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was, for the lack of a more descriptive, better word, beautiful and extremely well-written. The characterisation was realistic and true, and I have to say this is quite honestly one of my favourite stories of this pairing and genre. D Tree |
![]() ![]() Read it all. Power to ya. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very well written. but I swear, if it took longer for them to get together, I would have smashed my computer. I started getting very anxious around chap.10 and then it wasn't until chap 38 that I started to calm down. there was a point where I absolutely hated Draco, for not giving up the girl, but I forgave him eventually. VERY WELL DONE. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was so awesome and beautiful thank you |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this so much |
![]() ![]() I did not post reviews chapter by chapter, but rather wanted to review this work in its entirety. I really LOVED it! Enough said. |
![]() ![]() ****Comments contain spoilers!***** This is an enthralling story so I won't nitpick it too much. I am glad that this is the first story I've read in which Harry and Draco get to have each other and children of their own, too. This is more in keeping with how JKR presented them to us and what they valued. I do love Laura. She is the perfect mother for their children. She is very spirited and independent. Just the kind of woman they both need to do what needs to be done and not interfere with them too much. I found her to be a refreshing addition and am glad she didn't turn out to be a schemer aiming to tear them apart after all. I'm also reading the Cloak and Dagger series and read this one as an interlude between the Cloak and Dagger stories. I am struck by how both men seem plagued by irrational and petty jealousies in that series and in this story. But here, there is the bond to explain that, which comforts me a bit. I'm still trying to come to terms with their extreme possessiveness in the Cloak and Dagger series, for which there isn't as obvious explanation as to why they each freak out so badly if the other so much as smiles at someone else. That level of insecurity would be alarming, not flattering for most couples I know. But here, it all makes sense in context with the influence of the bond though I still find it cringeworthy at times. I loved Ron and Hermione playing such a big role and wish Draco could have interacted with them when not overwhelmed with bond induced PMS. He was such a rude jerk! Ah...but it is Draco... The reference to riding the dragon cracked me up! |
![]() ![]() ![]() First of all, let me say that I really enjoy your writing. I've read a couple of your stories and you're a well rounded author. I had a question about this chapter... It doesn't seem to make sense that Lucius could "forcibly give Disco in marriage" to someone in such a way that his new spouse would take on Draco's last name and such. THe very idea of giving away a child generally means that the one given would lose their name and be forced to acquiesce to their new spouse, not the other way around. I understand this story is complete already, but that just seems like a weak link in the plot. Otherwise, one could have "given" their child to a royal family member for example and that family would be required to lose a key member without any negotiations or benefit. |
