When I saw your comment "Andrew Davies botched it" I laughed out loud. I could not agree more. Great job!
| Laura Schiller chapter 1 . 11/27/2011
You captured Amy's unrequited love, and her selflessness, really well. I like your version of the scene - however, I don't agree that Andrew Davies botched it. I thought Amy's loss of temper ("Sometimes I wish I'd never met you") was perfectly understandable - after all, as truly grateful as she is, she was happier before he (unknowingly) disrupted her life and broke her heart. I was relieved to see Amy acting like a flawed human being for once, instead of a saint. With a life like hers, it's surprising that she never said anything worse.
| Rosa Cotton chapter 1 . 3/25/2011
Still as wonderful as the first time I read it! *happy sigh*
(Why did Davies twist Arthur and Amy's reunion so in the miniseries? I still don't get it.)
Awesome job done. :D
