That does seem to make sense. I myself enjoy fireworks. Maybe they like the "fire" part more than anything else.

Eipok is right, and on many things,an invasion of earth would be a much easier task. While it is almost imposiible earth is the ONLY source of liquid water in the galaxy, Eipok's argument of their homeworld's proximity to earth. the fact that they are not that advanced proves this, their wepons fire balistics, they don't possess any sort of energy weapon. In terms of Water's usefullness, hydrogen reactors might make it OUR primary power source. i leave you with these thoughts.

| Eipok chapter 1 . 4/6/2011
Believe it or not, but it's actually FAR easier to invade the Earth and wipe out its indigenous population using the strategy they used (I.e. deploying in the ocean outside our major coastal cities, attacking with the element of surprise, an using the water from the coast to fuel the military push inland) than to melt a volume of water equal to Earth's oceans.
The majority of water in the known universe is in a frozen state, which is very difficult to make use of on a large scale. These aliens' technology is only centuries ahead of our own, not millennia. In fact, they probably don't even have FTL travel at all. Don't assume just because they're extraterritorial that they're also hyper-advanced. Their planet is probably only a few dozen lightyears away, and it has been implied that it isn't even unified, that its political landscape consists of many different factions.
They have been here studying us for decades, perhaps centuries, implying that they sent advance scouts, who then reported back, then they formulated a plan and set out and have spent the time since then traveling here, perhaps in cryogenic hibernation. Then once they arrived, they updated their plan with more recent information and used straights insertion craft to deploy forces to Earth. At least that's my current hypothesis.

I completly disagree with you PancakeMixLordOfPantopia. I think this story is GENIOUS! Seriously! I really think that a writer who doesn't do the conventional boring thing, like you, needs; no, DESERVES more respect!
Awesome story dude! xxx

Okay, here is my rant to you. 1. Aliens WILL one day come for our water. Why? Because, it is the only source of LIQUID water in this galaxy. 2. Its a good movie, really action packed, but not alot detail. 3. You go off on tangents that don't make sense, were you high during the writing? 4. Water may not be important to you, but with out it, there would be no LIFE on Earth, and you would not be here to blabble. 5. Phlegm? What phlegm?
