Reviews for Suddenly I See |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have to say that this story was unique and creative and also that, based on your many author's notes apologizing for lengthy delays between chapters, I'm glad I discovered it after it was completed, lolz. I'm sure that otherwise the anticipation would have killed me. I greatly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Though there were many various details I thought were fascinated, I particularly liked how you treated the "botched proposalit was especially creative and clever how you changed the circumstances almost entirely, yet kept the spirit of misunderstanding in tact. Really, bravo! Similarly, the Lydia/Wickham "elopement" being utilized as the catalyst for making Elizabeth Believe was well engineered. And the revelation of it was as much a surprise for the reader as it was for Elizabeth! Fantastic. I would go on, but it's a pain to gush on my phone. All that said, I have to agree with your betayou just can't pull the "it was all a dream" schtick. It's cliche and cheapens the experience for the reader. It made an adorable alternate ending, though, and I really only disapprove in theory, lolz. Absolutely wonderful story. Loved it and will likely read it again (plus anything else you write). |
![]() ![]() Thank you. I have read it the 2nd time. |
![]() ![]() Pourriez vous donner une bonne leçon à l égoïste et vaniteuse qui ce croît audessus des autres elle ferait mieux de revoir son jugement |
![]() ![]() ![]() I hope you write and post your new story. I would love to read it. I would also love a sequel to Suddenly I see. You are an amazing writer, you write very good. The only one thing I didnt like so much about the story or in any story is that It took to long to come to the point. To much detail. I dont really like that, but still I loved this story. If you post this new story, I am going to read it.. |
![]() ![]() To your comment that Darcy isn’t shy, he’s an INTJ; YES, Yes, Yes! People can, of course, be both, but through Darcy, Jane Austen described perfectly how an INTJ would behave. There’s not a single clue that he’s shy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you! I enjoyed your story so much. Thank you for your original thoughts, universe and plot. It is nice to read a P&P variation where one cannot guess what will happen next. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hello! I’ve discovered your story a few days ago, and have really enjoyed it. I realize that this chapter may be a few years old and my observation might have already been pointed out to you. If not then now you know. Towards the end of this chapter after Elizabeth talks to Collins, there’s a line that reads, “When they finished the run, about a half hour before the next shit was due to arrive”. Did you mean to write “shit”, or is it supposed to be “shift”? It’s a minor thing, but as an author, I always appreciate it when others point out possible errors that I missed. Spaz-attack101 |
![]() ![]() I'm beginning to dislike your elizabeth. She is so quick to react negatively to events and to say unpleasant things to people. |
![]() ![]() i'm puzzling over Jane being educated enough to be a teacher and Elizabeth only being qualified for secretarial or factory work. And i'm not clear about the era: is it pre WW1 or 1930s? |
![]() ![]() ![]() You are a fantastic and gifted author. SIS was phenomenal and your Pain and Perseverance promised to be as entertaining. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting storytogether with the alternative the epilogue offered. There are less characters than in the original and some of the roles are changed but it fits perfectly with the story and it is both credible and entertaining. Thank you |
![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoyable, completely different story. For awhile I was beginning to despair of his ever winning her over. I actually like both endings. They are both so very different with such incredible ramifications. Thanks for sharing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() yes yes yes would love to read your new story! could you put an update (as a new chapter) onto this story when your new story is posted? (so that readers can get notification) can't wait! |
