This was nice! I hope he does begin again!
janefanatic chapter 9 . 3/30/2019
I think the work sounds kind of boring, but I don’t mind hearing about it.
janefanatic chapter 7 . 3/30/2019
Damn, I’m surprised at Bingley being so cold!
janefanatic chapter 6 . 3/30/2019
Okay, I will stop asking about time period. I’m glad to have met Georgiana! And I’m glad Bingley went to search for the ladies and make sure they were fine!
janefanatic chapter 5 . 3/30/2019
Thanks for sharing! I like Bingley!
janefanatic chapter 4 . 3/30/2019
I’m assuming what with the wine that this is not taking place in the 20s as I originally surmised. I’m surprised Darcy doesn’t even have the faintest idea that Elizabeth is angry with him!
janefanatic chapter 2 . 3/30/2019
I love that Jane was kind of aggressive with Darcy about his policies with hiring women! What year does this take place in? I’m assuming it’s the 20s or sometime around then.
tigrchic8 chapter 29 . 2/17/2019
Oh my gosh! What a neat story. Loved both endings! Alternate is really brilliant idea, even if starts again, but that could make another story. Great writing! Thank you for writing
tigrchic8 chapter 4 . 2/11/2019
So far this is great. Excited to read more. Great idea and great writing. Thanks
AnneL214 chapter 1 . 2/2/2019
I often saw this story listed and it took months (or years) to give it a go. I have issues with P&P stories in more modern settings. But you know what: I was wrong! I really enjoy this story. How can Darcy be so disconnected of reality when he fires her and imagine she’s ok with it. Poor delusional guy. but he’s touching when he gets to her when he’s sick. Your story is well written and really, really enjoyed it! Keep writing!

i can't believe it took you eight years to write this. but nevertheless, bon travail et toutes nos félicitations

Pecan crusted salmon dates from the 1980s, although pecan crusted chicken dates to the 1960s. I doubt either would have been on a menu in London before WWI. Pecans were first exported in bulk in the 1920s, but were viewed as a dessert garnish. (We own a tree farm with about a thousand acres of commercial pecans under cultivation.)
MrsH chapter 4 . 1/28/2019
The many anachronisms are rapidly overwhelming the plot. Bar codes were invented in 1974; post codes in 1959. Mail sorting machines date to the 1950s, but “encoding” by adding a machine readable barcode to sort by post code dates to the late 1970s. Meanwhile, the switch from horse drawn carriages to motor cars hdpiebed between 1880 and 1925.

Dresses that show a woman’s calf date to the teens and 20s.

I am hoping the story moves on to more of the relationship, so it becomes easier to overlook the historical errors.

I very much enjoyed your story, thank you xx

I'm glad that you choose to return in this fandom. It is always a beautiful thing for a reader to see an author come back. So welcome back!
About the new story: I like your new idea a lot. It is a painful subject, and this is precisely the reason to talk about it.
A story can be a wonderful way to talk about a painful subject, especially if something similar happened in real life. It can be difficult to talk about a personal experience, but this can be done through a story, and through this story yoi can even help other people with similar problems.
Write this story, even if you do not have many readers. I will definitrly read it.

Also thank you for your research effort. Reading a regency compliant story is rare and writing it is surely difficult. Thank you
