I'd like to know where the characters are, what their enemies are like, an idea of what they're wearing and general condition, but not super- intense, you know? |
| Flower chapter 11 . 1/13/2014 I do not like this chapter, for the bias is too great, making it painful to watch. "For once she was proud"? Oh, so every other waking moment of Thranduil he's been a disgrace? Only when he's showing relief for his son that he's worthy of the other O Mighty elven lords? And you claim you actually like Thranduil? It is quite hard to discern from your writing then, if that is truly how you felt about Thranduil. From in this epilogue nearly every sentence drips with a condescension and distaste that was hard to describe if it is not your own opinion. It is perfectly okay for other elven lords to disparage Thranduil, for that was merely jest; but Thranduil's pride must be totally thrown in the dust, because that was evil? |
