Reviews for Robin's Daybreak |

![]() ![]() ![]() I would really like to read more of this, I really like your writing style. It pulled me in, and I love reading about Robin and I thought the Dark Knight needed a Robin :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() First of all - WOW! This is incredible, and so original! You're a fantastic writer, and you should definitely continue this. You got their reactions and dialogue perfectly! I could practically see the story in my very eyes, and this is something that definitely should have been included in the films. I love how you chose Jason for Robin, because you're completely right, having Dick Grayson in the Nolan films wouldn't match the realistic view that Nolan created. I love the movie/comic Under the Red Hood! I usually prefer to read comics that contain either Robin, Red Robin, Nightwing and/or Red Hood. Cause they're just so awesome. Your writing style is also admirable. I would love to see Jason's reaction when he finds out Bruce is actually Batman, I'm so curious! And how him and Alfred would get along (or not get along lol xD) this fic is simply amazing! Great, great job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Please, continue the story is awesome! But I expect a little building their relationship as it was with Dick also agree not due to omit Robin in the film is a key part of what is now Batman. (sorry for the English, not well mastered) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh this was so sad and sweet! I always thought that it was cute that Jason didn't hesitate to strip Batman's .Poor little Jason, so afraid that Bruce didn't really want him.:( Please continue this.:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story! I really liked the way that you introduced Batman/Bruce to Jason/Robin. Having Jason steal the tires of off the tumbler was really clever. I can't wait to read more! Keep writting and have a great day :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's a really good start and I admit I had pretty much the same reaction to the whole No Robin thing. I'm actually doing my own put Robin in the film series story because he's my fav hero. I will defiantly keep reading this so please continue! -puppy dog eyes- Your pal Skytail |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting take. I love seeing people righting the wrong done by the new films by including Robin. Batman needs a Robin, like you said. Sure, I'll admit the idea is wonky when it's really thought through (especially by today's standards) The cooky idea of a child helping such a dark character was purely born in the 40's and the only reason why we still have a Robin today is because EVERYONE is just so darn used to him being around. But still, Robin is way too important to just be totally ignored (as you pointed out). There's a small part of me icking that it's Jason Todd instead of Dick Grayson, but that's because I'm a big goofy fangirl when it comes to Dick and his baby blues. Personally I never liked Jason...until I saw Under the Red Hood XD. Who couldn't adore him after that movie! So I'll give this fic a chance because I trust you as a writer. (you're just dayum good lol) And because the review needs to get even longer, here's a tossed out rec for you. There's a writer on here named Philippa who has a dang decent series going with Dick in the film universe. I am so behind on the newer chapters of the latest fic, but I enjoyed her take on it. It's pretty original and she's a really good writer. The fics begin with 'The Nestling', then Monkey See Monkey Do, and the newest one is Night Falling. Then there's a bunch of little oneshots peppered in the little world she's created. Anyways, sorry to babble. I look forward to reading more! lol, and who doesn't smile at the mental image of Bats looking at his car on cinder blocks DDD |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow this is really good, i like how you're bringin robin into the story |
