As I was saying is a great AU here, I loved this spin to the show, the romantic in me cheered the mergana relationship because I thought that if the characters of Merlin and Morgana ever had a relationship this would have a depth of feelings deeper and with more meaning than his infatuation with freya. Above all I believe that to recieve trust one must give it in return, and this is the crux of the matter in the show that never ever sits well with me, when the time came for the hero to rise to the ocassion, to tell the truth and lend a helping hand to a friend in need...he just didn't. And it seams that practically everyone is more important and deserving of kindness and forgiveness than morgana (Even uther and he is the evil) even before she ever did anything wrong. Yep condemned from the start. That is why I think that this fanfic is of my favorites, because even if the characters aren't perfect they are brave in the way that they own their mistakes and go on and release that life is not in black and white. |
| Guest chapter 37 . 1/11/2019 Hi! Just here to leave my review. Let me tell you WOW. I think it's my favorite fanfic of this show. Being honest I perrsonally didn't like the way morgana is condemned by everyone on the show or the cowardly way the merlin character just abandoned her, then poisoned her and ultimately has the gall to ask why she turned bad? The nerve! ... and thank you for this story I really tought I was the only one to believe that the dragon was the only one benefiting from this drama manipulating merlin. Thd truth is that no one enjoys watching the suposed hero of the movie abandoning his friends and leting children die just because some greater good a total stranger begin spouting of, dravn or not |

| Guest chapter 11 . 12/30/2018 Oh my goodness. I agree so much. The version of Lancelot presented in Merlin the tv show is hard to hate. It's not like he was acting of his own will, or, you know, was even alive, for the supposed betrayal. Which is very different from the Legends. |
