I just want you to know that this is seriously one of my favorite SasuSaku fics. I read it whenever I'm sad, or frustrated about the pace of the manga (always).
Strong Sakura is seriously under-represented in the fanfiction community, I feel. So is a Sasuke who portrays what I think Sasuke actually feels for Sakura at this moment: trust, a little desire maybe, but mostly a longing to protect.
In summary of this little rant, I think you did a great job of keeping them in character and showing their progression as a couple.
I can't thank you enough for sharing.

Your story is amazing. I loved the way you incorporated Shiva and Parvati's story in this,. Despite being a Hindu it took me some time to realise your incorporation though, lol. anyway, I loved every bit of your fic , I hope you write more for this fandom :)

This was a really great SasuSaku- I lost interest in the fandom for a long time, but this revived my interest! It was well-written and loved seeing both characters' development and pieces of the legend interspersed throughout. Sasuke secretly taking care of her while she was sick was very sweet. Especially loved Sakura's growing strength and how she eventually became Sasuke's equal. It made them finally being together even more powerful. Thanks for sharing this story.

I love the storyline. The way you intersperse the tale and the fanfic are fantastic, and I think that both Sasuke and Sakura stay perfectly in character. Keep up the wonderful work!

this was a really good read. the folklore blended into their own story well and served as a nice background. sometimes the way to a man's heart is slow and riddled with difficulties but unwaivering love, determination and faith or just plain stubbornness to give up helps in the journey. and upon reaching the finish line, winning his heart, makes all the trouble worth it.

| EbonyEye chapter 1 . 8/9/2013
Firstly, this is an absolutely amazing story! So close to the Canon manga, yet focused on pretty much just the two we want to read about. Despite being so centered on Sasuke and Sakura, I don't feel as as if I'd lost contact with the "Naruto world". Amazing balance!
And speaking of balance brings me to my next point. Some authors rush through their stories, others slow down so much that their plot starts to fall apart. 'Folklore' is paced and smooth, transitioning between scenes without feeling either cramped or stretched out. In fact, it's pieced together so well I feel like you wrote it all in one go! (Maybe you did... )
And lastly, I love the style of your writing. Descriptions were clear and I was able to imagine and picture the current situation while I was reading. When I came up to the dialogues, the writing was to the point and didn't dilly-dally in overwhelming details. I admire you for that!
The idea of adding matching folklore was a very good one - even better since it's being fed to the readers bit by bit. I love how the old lady - Nandi - was the one to tell it to Sakura. Oh, and did I mention the Prologue with Nandi was also matching and didn't feel foreign in the story? :)
... Just realized I listed four points, not three. Oopsie ;)
Keep up the great work! Writing well is an awesome skill.

I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your story! I've been on a Saku/Sasu kick lately but it seems like every story I find is the same, until I stumbled upon this gem! Blending a bit of folklore into the story was such an excellent way to make this fic stand out among the rest. Sakura and Sasuke's character development was gradual and believable, yet unmistakably canon. The fact that you were able to illustrate it in only four chapters is amazing. The writing had a nice flow to it and the lemon was perfectly executed, and again, believeable. Now, I need to go read the rest of your stories!
