Are you Jewish?
If you are- lovely to meet a talanted fellow member of the tribe.
If not- I'm very very impressed with your knowledge and or research of Shabbat.

| Guest chapter 1 . 10/1/2013
This story is perfect. It is able to address homophobia with the story completely surrounding it. The relationship between Aaron and Dudley is so believable. I love how Dudleys character is explored and given so much more depth than the books had time to provide.

I absolutely love this story...it's so realistic and well done, I love quite a few of your stories, but this is def my favorite. I am horrible about updating, but I am going to be hypocritical and hope that you update soon!

Loving this story! Especially since you've made Aaron Jewish- and a practicing one. I'm Jewish and I always love it when I can relate to stories through Jewish examples.
Otherwise, I'm loving the story in its own rights as well. Many authors would just have Dudley and harry perfectly fine with each other, or have Dudley easily trust Aaron. You've made Dudley a stronger and real character, so he doesn't trust easily. You're a wonderful writer! :)

wonderful! dudley's point of view is lovely!

| twin1 chapter 5 . 5/24/2013
Loving this story. The writing is brilliant and really gets you involved in and feeling for the characters. Lovng Aaron and how well fleshed out his character is, definately makes him seem like a real, believable person. Will definitely be recommending this to my sister.

I actually can't get over how perfect this story is. And your incorporation of those Yiddish words and the atmospheres of Aaron's parents' house was so true to reality. It made me smile. I am a huge fan of your writing!

Cool dad Aaron has, wise.

Loved this, both for showing Dudley taking his relationship with Aron and for exploring his guilt for how Harry was treated and showing how his parents messed up both boys. Really makes me want to see more of Dudley early adulthood.
"Aaron set down a hideous china shepherdess that had been a gift from Petunia as close to the edge of a sealed box as he dared, hoping it would tip over and smash into pieces."
Details like this or Marge's horrible towel or Dudley's Aron's milk quarrels really add so much complexity to this story. I'm firmly convinced they live their lives outside of those little slices you show us.
'Hugh was marvelous. Did chest compressions, he did, until the ambulance arrived,' Cassandra nattered on. 'Your mother followed the ambulance in their car. Poor thing was a mite frantic. I said I'd lock up the house. I thought I'd just ring up a family member, in case your mother quite forgot. It does rather look like she's in for a long night, you see.'
Ah, you really captured the righteous, self-centered and overly chatty nature of the Dursley neighborhood residents.
Love Dudley back at his parents house, the scene with the cupboard was very powerful. Never really thought about what happened to it after Harry left, but ignoring it sounds very much like the Dursleys.

I just love this story to fricken pieces and continuously hope for more. Please continue, and soon!
