Reviews for Someone Else
guestnumber5 chapter 1 . 1/30/2014
You only get that one person in a film that seems to show the character that is hurt, true love. Martha must have been so heart-broken to see the Grinch leave, you can see so much it hurts her to even talk about him in the film. If the Grinch and Martha had kids, they'd be Who children with green hair and yellow and green eyes! XD
Great story.
Hell-Kitchen chapter 1 . 12/10/2013
great story, didn't get to see much of Martha's POV on the Grinch.
At first because Martha didn't seem to look that interested in the Grinch, I couldn't really see that she had a crush on him. But as soon as I read this, this is genius! It explains her so well, and the bit where she snapped at Augustus at her door was just so clear to see and imagine the real characters doing that!
Need more Grinch/Martha from you soon my dear!
thumbs up! :D
guest chapter 1 . 11/28/2013
You forgot to mention the bit where Martha looks at Betty and Lou kiss in the town square, maybe you could have wrote something about what she could have been feeling at that point. she looked so upset to see that everyone had each other, and when she looks at Betty and Lou kiss she wishes that could be her and the Grinch.
Great story, need more soon because it's coming up December. CHRISTMAS! MORE GRINCH/MARTHA PLEASE!
TheDoctor'sStrawberry chapter 1 . 11/16/2013
"The things I know about him would make your hair curl, my dear... not that it needs it."

Anyways, awesome fic... although it's a little early for me to be reading Christmas stories... Ah well, I like this fic anyways... It's cute!
GrinchxMarthafan chapter 1 . 6/25/2013
your style in writing has inspired me to create better description in my own stories. Very well done, I love how you made this about Martha's point-of-view and how much you kept towards her character and the scene when she told Augustus he had some nerve showing up at her house. I was like O_o f *kin' hell that was one amazing scene, that should have been in the film or at least be a deleted scene. GENIOUS DUDE, GENIOUS! keep up the work on the Grinch! :D

Inubaki chapter 1 . 12/14/2012
I had wished there was more Martha May in the movie and her point of view on things. This was very detailed and heart felt on her part while keeping everyone else in perfect character. Very well done! I loved especially how you ended it with the Grinch holding Martha's hand. Loved it! Though I wished they kissed. lol

Guest chapter 1 . 10/6/2012
This is surrealy like the Prince's Tale. If you don't read Harry Potter, than here's the rundown: snape is the potions proffesser at hogwarts. Little is known about him, except that he's bitter, amean, and cant stand harry. But his past is that of a tragic one: his one true love was his best friend from when he was nine to when he was sixteen. Her name was lily evans and he fell in love woth her the minute he saw her. Snape was discribed as a 'hideous' child, with a large hooked nose, long greasy black hair, and a seemingly permenant sneer, du to his anti social behavior and his achohalic fathers abusiveness. He only smiled for lily. From day one, his arch rival was james potter and his band of cronies, the mauraders. They were remus lupin, sirius black, and peter pettigrew. He was immensly jealous of snape because of his

I just watched the movie for the first time in awhile and thought I'd see if there was any good fanfiction for it. And there is! Great story, the characters were perfect!
The Whisper chapter 1 . 4/9/2011
I love this. I think you've really fleshed out the characters of a little known fandom. I've seen the movie enough times to almost know the all the words (!), and I completely love what you've done here. Fantastic writing, as usual, thank you for this little peek into Whoville!
Nayuki-Bunny chapter 1 . 4/8/2011
it's been forever since I've seen this movie, but reading this brought all the memories back. I absolutely adore your writing of Martha's character and all the introspection you crammed in. lovely work here, you did a wonderful job!
