I am intrigued ... there is so much you can do with an alternate universe. Already I love your characterization of Severus, it seems as if life in this reality has been kinder to him and it's nice to see him happier. I also very much enjoyed how natural and easy Harry and Hermione's partnership seemed to be. Loved that the dragon had a personality as well! It's the little details that make a story great.

I am very curious as to what Hermione revealed to Albus that shocked him so. Your writing style seemed very natural and sucked me into the new world you've created very quickly (I do especially enjoy beginnings that are in medias res, and you can't get more action right away than fighting off a dragon)Can't wait to read more!

"Ah, I see" she nodded and stepped back. "Alternate dimension. It must be."

Albus lips were twitching. "You deduced this from the state of Severus' hair?"

"Believe me, you would have, too," she deadpanned,

Excellent! I wonder though, is there any chance in this story for HG/SS? I know the pairing for the story is Harry P. & Hermione G., but a girl can hope. I'm just having withdrawal from "When A Lioness Fights" being concluded.
