And that was the way it should have ended. Thank you!

Wow. I wish *this* would've been how S3 ended. I was totally caught up in this, especially when I read it with the music playing in the background. Just wonderful!
You can sure write them, girl!

As I said on LJ... this story hurts, but hurts beautifully, and with a very hopefully, teasingly happy ending. In fact, it isn't even so much an ending as it is the hint of a turning moment in their relationship, the beginning of a new path.
**...and he'd sent a wave of fissures through the bedrock of his life.** Such an apt and tangible description here. It makes me worry for him, for his stability of mind and emotion, and understand his fears so much more personally.
Such love for this scene that should have been (the last seven minutes of Season 3).

mes mains qui courent, je n'en peux plus de t'attendre ...
les années passent, qu'il est loin l'âge tendre..
nul ne peut nous entendre...
merci encore pour ce magnifique cadeau ...

I really liked this a lot. I loved that it was so very descriptive and that there was no dialogue. Usually, I love dialogue, but here, I think it would've taken away from the tone of the story. Also, it is so symbolic of their relationship anyway, the no dialogue at least. They don't need to talk to get their message across. I also loved the last sentence. It was so very perfect. :) Great story, it was just what I needed to brighten up my horrible day! :)
