I love this story. It's been nearly a year since I read it, but I read parts again just now and I'm in awe. I won't bore you with how how much I love it, just read kmc995's chapter 13 review - that's pretty much how I feel.
Your writing style... just awesome. I generally prefer the less is more approach for writing, which is why its unnerving how well you carry it off.
This story, along with SeriousScribble's Flawed Perfection, is more or less THE fanfic for me, and I read every E/A novel length worth reading.
This is a work of genius. Don't let it go. Your other stories aren't a patch on this... no other story is, really. Imagine, you're probably the only writer in history who's written in this particular style and this unique pairing.
Will log in sometime later to shamelessly gush over this story again. Your writing is profoundly beautiful.

I have been engrossed with your story for the past few days and I have to say it is one of my all time favourite Inheritance stories. Is there any chance of you finishing it? It is so fantastically written and the characters so well portrayed it would be a shame to let their story drift.
Well done on writing such a fantastic piece of literature :)

You must update!

I'm know you probably abandoned this story (considering the last time you updated), but I have to say I really enjoyed what you have of it.
Is there any chance that you will continue this fic? I'd love to read more.

When will Arya get her head out of her ass?
| Silverwing chapter 26 . 11/4/2012
Nasuada should have allowed for Eragon to be realised. As he is now the lead rider and therefore higher ranked than any queen, ruler or lord. As he alone commands the dragon riders. Being the most experienced, with the oldest free dragon is existence. His oath has no hold on him any longer whether she likes it or not.
This was not addressed in the book because she was captured, making him the leader of the Varden. She couldn't therefore have a hold on him or command him to do things. As I would think she would attempt to prevent him from going to the Vault of Souls. Being to close to their final goal. Even though later they are still bound after the victory. He leaves making him oath non-existent because of distance, not because he asked her to relinquish it.
Come on where is the romance between Eragon and Arya, there are so many hints, feelings and flashes ever so brief. Only dabbled in but not fully explored.
You have not even updated in over a year, maybe you lost interest, as many do. Upon reading Inheritance many realise the different directions their stories have taken and decide to discontinue their endeavour. I cannot see how many didn't pick up on what the souls where as there is only one thing through all the books that holds a soul inside it after death. As you have failed to realise and place in this story but it is a welcomed difference. This alternate ending could be good. And it disappoints me that you have denied the possible positive ending that we all as fans have been denied.
However this is only because of the affection I hold for your writing, so fluent, descriptive, emotive. A rarity I find is that yours displays intelligence that you obviously have while many here are lacking. This makes it a joy to read, so clear that I find myself easily imagining the events that take place back in the world created by CP. While others struggle to even come close. To the level of writing that we share.
Be on the lookout for me as of the 21st of this month I finish uni for the time being and reactivate my account. Bringing out the stories couped up in my head, songs and poems, if I may request that you review me as I have you. If you still hold interest in this series, or maybe wish to read another’s proficient writing.
Hoping that at some point you reconsider, and write more,
The light in the darkness

Aaaand I'm up to date. That was an excellent afternoon. You're a great writer, the characters seem pretty solidly in character, minus the development of Eragon's and Arya characters (though that's the point, isn't it?). Still a little cliche, and predictable, but hey, everything is to a point, and this was a good kind of such.
Got quite a few grammer/spelling errors, maybe one or two per chapter, but they're quite ignorable.
Again, great writer, the feel of it is similar. High fantasy and oh so lacking in crudeness, which can be common amongst fanfiction. You'll go far, I think.

I found myself rereading this story.
This is undeniably one of the better written stories I have read, and in my own opinion, a more satisfying and well written fourth book than Paolini's.
Hope you will continue with this masterful plot!
