Okay…this chapter did nothing to make me want to continue. Neither one of them are as awesome as they once were. Mike? People change, but I don’t think I could ever get in with someone who was so cruel and mean-spirited like he was. And to the guy she liked, no less. And Edward and his “girlfriend.” What an empty existence.

I may just need to skip ahead a bit - I don’t think I can take a bunch of chapters of people not saying how they feel for that long.

I guess I’m just having a hard time because I was Edward. But I didn’t fundamentally change my heart or my nature just because a few people saw me differently when I got older. It’s just so disappointing to see.

That’s…so disappointing. And hard to believe, honestly. He got hot, okay, but a barely-discerning fuck around guy? He changed the nature of his temperament? Gross.

I hope he has something redeeming, because this flirty fuckboy thing is gross.
