![]() ![]() ![]() still don't agree with ratting out Harkness. fuck the institute. and I am saying this as someone who thinks that the railroad are a bunch of single minded idiots. |

![]() ![]() ![]() We talked many years ago, and then I vanished, I think. I love this story and everything about it, though, and it was a joy to rediscover it recently. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've read a lot of fanfiction over the years. I've read everything ranging from the best to the worst, the unimaginative to the stellar. Nothing, NOTHING I've ever read yet so far even compares to this series. I love what you've done with Fallout. I love what you've done with Point Lookout and Sarah and Jason and Jackrum. Brutus is a terror and the Good Doctor is a dark horror hidden in some shadowed corner. What you've done is amazing. What you've done is inspiring. I hate to see this series slide down; I hate to see it lose its momentum with updates far too long in-between. This story is amazing, its characters real, and the costs heavy. I want to see Jason make it to New Vegas. I want to see him and Jessica play off one another - the warrior and the politician. I want to read more of Narg and Howlett, the Mysterious Stranger and the enemies they'll be fighting. I want to see what Jason and Jackrum do in the Capital Wasteland, how they'll mend the damage and make the nation the Lone Wanderer dreams about - But more than anything, I just want to know how this story will end - and I'm incredibly afraid that I won't ever get to see how it will. I love this story. In fact, I've reviewed it so many times that it's a labor going through the chapters just so I can post another review because I've posted something on just about all of them. I've been following it for three years now - a bit late to the party, but I still found it, and I'm glad I did. This is the only incomplete series I've ever read because I hate to see stuff go dead. We're all waiting to see what happens next. I know what its like to have no muse, but know all the fans are still here. We're all still waiting to see what happens - and we always will, no matter what... I hope you're doing alright, dude. I love Prodigal Son, but the Children of the Atom series? For me, it's perfect. It's amazing - and it's the greatest piece of fiction I've ever read. This is canon to me. This is the story I imagine when I play Fallout 3. This is the stuff that has me logging on every day in hopes of some kind of update and the thing that makes me shoot you a random message in hopes you'll reply and say that it's still alive. Just...know we're here. We're all here. And we always will be. Stay awesome, my dude. Much love from the USA. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I signed up to FF purely because of this story and to say thank you to the author. This gave me the cartharsis I needed. |
![]() ![]() Good good |
![]() ![]() Good |
![]() ![]() ![]() The ending of the chapter be like "KISS OUTA NOWHERE" xD |
![]() ![]() ![]() he was a total beta male this chapter. you can make someone open up, and be vulnerable without making him into a whiny child |
![]() ![]() ![]() as for the trogs being too weak, you seem to be forgetting the fact that the Lone Wanderer (anf the protagonists of the other games, for that matter) is a freak of nature. an unstoppable killing machine. especially in the late-game. |
