|Reviews for Star of the Sea|
| miamackay chapter 11 . 7/13
A great story. The grief of the surviving Cartwrights was so well described and I was afraid it was going to turn out to be a death fic. So glad it wasn't! You've obviously done a lot of historical research, not only into the disaster at sea, but alsointo medical treatments. Cupping sounds a cure worse than the illness itself.

I loved the way you entwined factual events into your story as it made it somehow more powerful. Having experienced a very rough sea crossing, I could totally empathise with Adam and your descriptions brought up memories I'd rather forget! I know you wrote this a while ago, but every good story deserves a review, no matter how long after it's posted. Great job.

Giving up something is easy...if there's a stronger pull elsewhere.

seasickness...no fun at that!
| Dreamer1985 chapter 1 . 4/27/2011
of course there's going to be trouble...especially with the name change of the ship.

Poor Adam, sea sickness is no fun at all. Am enjoying the by-play between Adam & Joe.
Looking forward to reading more.
