Great story! You wrote both guys so well. I loved the reactions from Danny and his awareness of why he was reacting like that. Steve whump is always welcome, and the worry from his team just makes it better. You paint a nice picture :)

Ah Danny. You had a temper. But you were worried for/about Steve. Good thing you calmed down a bit before you saw him. That fantasy reality Danny had was funny and a bit messed up.

I loved Danny's conversation with Steven and with Chin. Loved how he defended Steve- Danny can say what he wants about him, his right as his partner, but no one else better in front of him- but at the same time, I see that talking with Chin made him see that there was a point to all of this chaos at the department.

Steve does need to see what having a partner means. He picked Danny himself to be by his side. There was a reason he did that and I think Danny showed him why here. NICELY DONE!

First of all, can I just say that I am very glad that you decided to join the Five-0 fandom. I've read quite a number of your Supernatural fics over the years and loved them all. So I'm really glad that you're bringing that...awesomeness into the world of Five-0.

As for the story. I really enjoyed reading it. Of course, it doesn't have the amount of banter we love but that's understandable considering Steve's condition. But more than Steve and Danny, I love how you portrayed Chin. Peaceful and calm as always but tough when he has to be. It's what makes me love the character.

I'd definitely will be reading your other work for this show. A number of writers seem to be finding their footing so it's nice to have something that I know would be consistent.
