| WaitingForThisMomentToBeFree chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 This was a very enjoyable story. It was absolutely lovely and very tender. You have a great ability to portray the emotion experienced by both characters and the element of Kurt being a dancer was an interesting and unexpected touch as most FF authors go the route of making him a Broadway performer. It worked very well, mostly because you were so skilled at describing his dance and attaching emotion to it. I love reading stories that make me "feel" - doesn't matter what, just as long as the writing has the ability to draw me in deeply enough that I can relate or empathize with the characters. Your story did this for me. Just to be fair and balance out the review... The part where Kurt starts crying while Blaine is sitting next to him on the stage and Blaine tries to comfort him and suddenly Kurt is laying on top of his body was a little awkward. The effect was to pull me out of the story for a bit b/c it didn't seem to fit under the circumstances. But the description of Kurt's crying in his neck and Blaine rubbing his back without any sexual connotation attached to it redeemed you! Overall a very nice oneshot! Kudos! |

Do you know when you read a really good book (maybe from a favorite author of your) and you see one sentence that initially is awkward or confuses you? And it simply doesn't matter? There was one sentence. I could go back and find it, but I'm not going to. It was awkward for me at first, but I figured it out (didn't need much figuring out), and it didn't matter. Because this story is wonderful. |
