There were several funny moments, but I busted out loud when I read something about being like a horror movie, but "I wasn't a blonde with big fake boobs, so I knew I wouldn't be the first to die." Oh my god, that was funny. Thanks for sharing!

I'm interested in the premise of this story. Though to be quite honest, this first chapter seemed choppy. I liked that it was fast paced, but I think that it was for this reason that it came off as "telling" rather than a "showing" kind of story. Nonetheless, I appreciate that you just wanted to get the info we readers needed to know in order to get on with the story. I just hope they didn't break up over something stupid like a misunderstanding because of miscommunication.
