Cute story. I'm glad they ended up so happy together, after the heartbreak they caused each other in high school. It was good they had that time to grow up separately, and find their way back to each other. Read the outtakes, right before reading this chapter, as I wanted to end with this chapter. His side of their breakup made it more about how much they were both at fault. I'm very glad to learn, that Edward did technically lose his virginity to Bella, as he did get all the way inside her, before she blurted out what happened. I was also very happy to learn that he went to Jake and punched the fucker. I'm know that Bella remembers nothing of that night but, I'd bet anything, that Jake remembers it all. Edward said it right, he was wanting Bella for all,those years, it wasn't just an accident. Even if Bella believes it was. I don't buy it from Jake at all. He got what he wanted and it destroyed BxE in the process. I'm thinking he was quite happy with himself for that. Dick. Well, their off to a banner start with all their lack of communication and him going behind her back to undermine all of her decisions. Not to mention they both made massive decision without once consulting the other person in the decision making. She just gave up the bookshop and decided to follow him to Boston, without telling him. He decides not to go to Boston, contacts Eleazar and undermines her decision and decides on school there instead, all without talking to her about it. They had weeks to speak to each other. Their relationship is doomed to fail if this is their way of communicating. I hope instead that they both learned their lesson from this.

Again, are there no medical schools on the west coast in your fiction world? The scholarship would be nice but, his parents seem to have been floating him this long, why stop paying for his college halfway through it. They wouldn't.

That was rather generous of Eleazar to just give Bella a the bookstore. She really needs to tell Edward that, as it is very important in his school decision making. And, is there not a college near by them that he can go to? Better yet, can't he serve out his residency at his father's hospital? That would certainly be a lot closer than any of the east coast schools.

Awwww, that was a wonderful first time for them. I'm glad they finally got to experience each other. Five years in the making, is a very long time. At least now, they both know it's forever love.

Pfft! That's it? I guessed that very early on. With you mentioning that they broke up and got back together quite often. Add to it the mention of Jacob, it was obvious. I bet she probably heard a rumor in school that he'd done one of the cheerleaders and believed the rumor and ran to Jake. It's a little more than strange that Edward took it so hard. They were in effing high school. Yes, they loved each other but, it was high school love. Not forever love. Him reacting the way he did tonight, was really immature. Yes, you've mentioned that they would be immature in this story. I just didn't expect him to be that immature and attack Jake like that. Helllllloooooo, they were broken up!

So best guess at this point: They were both saving themselves and we're going to be each other's firsts . . . Bella screwed up and Jacob was instead? Or, Edward had done it before and Bella didn't want to be inexperienced, and did the stupid thing by doing Jacob instead. I get this line of thought from her saying the only three people who know the truth were the three of them.

Well, the theme here was that he broke her heart . . . yet, she said there at the end that he never told anyone the reason or, she'd know about it. The perfect idea would be for Alice to move in with Bella and give Edward Alice's place. That's what my best friend would do for me if in the same situation. Of course my ex, at the college age Bella is at in this, stalked me until I had to have him arrested. So no, no good would've come from him moving in. Wow, you pulled a memory from thirty years ago with that. Yikes.

I mean.. I don't honestly see how anyone can justify that... The way she told him was conpletely shitty. And you spent the whole story making Edward seem like a bad dude? She had no fucking right to hate him in the first place.
