i once read a story where he got all excited and ate this banana, and then didn't like it. he was really sad because he didn't like bananas any more.

I read this while eating a pear, believe it or not. It set the tone nicely.

Less in keeping with the tone was the fact that I was listening to Til I Hear You Sing at top volume. Suffice to say Extreme Angst of Death does not correlate too well with food-related humor.

Nevertheless, a very entertaining and fun little oneshot. I propose a follow-up regarding bananas and a newfound hatred thereof.
