This is fan-frickin-tastic! I hate drabbles and usually avoid one shots so when I saw this work that seemed like mini drabbles with titles on every paragraph, I cringed and went to check out your profile page if you had any other long Touga/Sess x Kag stories. Turning up empty, I was conflicted whether to read or not but since there are so few Touga stories and yours was highly recommended thought I'd give a few chapters a try. You had me intrigued from the very beginning and hooked by Tessaiga's appearance. Another thing I hate even more than drabbles are when people write in present tense cuz it just feels awkward as most fictions tend to be in past tense, and I've seen many authors start getting their tenses mixed up as they unknowingly drift back to past tense. But you made it work really well and there was very little confusion with the tenses too. In fact yours is the first story where I didn't mind it being in present tense, it worked as your story isn't like a novel.

I absolutely loved this story, loved your ideas, humour, and how everything fit in so well with the canon story. I loved Dokuseiga (watching Yasha and Kouga fight, trying to decide who's the bigger waste of space lol), absolutely loved Sesshomaru, and I agreed with your interpretation and feelings on the Inuyasha series. While Yash is a great character, he's a bit immature for Kagome and I felt their relationship resembled that of an older sis-younger bro. Sesshomaru's feelings and Taisho's relationship with both sons (I definitely liked your version better btw!) and Sesshomaru's deep paternal caring for Rin. Thank you so much for not turning the beautiful guardian-ward relationship into something twisted, I really can't say that enough! Yours is one of the few Touga x Kagome stories which does not pair up Sesshomaru with Rin which seems so wrong given their guardian/paternal feelings. Touga's resurrection took so long (worked great for your story, was just bit disappointed to see the story end just as he's brought back). I'm dying to see the two finally together in the modern era. I'm so going over to read your sequel next.

BTW have you thought about writing a Sess x Kag story? You write His Arrogance so well that I loved reading from his and Dokuseiga's POVs. It would be lovely to see that sometime. Anyway, you write beautifully and thanks very much for sharing!
