Interesting premise, good start, but simplistic dialogue and flat characters. Keep it up, but try and leanr some ways to make characters more engaging. Annoyingly enough, bringing harry in didn't change the plot at all for the first few chapters, which seems kinda pointless to me.

So, not sure if you're still updating/checking on this story, but nonetheless I wanted to drop a review and tell you how much I've enjoyed it thus far. I am, self-admittedly, a novice to Dune but this has been well put together such that even those of us without a deeper understanding can enjoy it. I do have one question/gripe though and that is the obscenely soft approach Harry continues to take, over and over, with the Bene Geseret. In your own words they have kidnapped him twice, attempted to kill him multiple times, attacked his wife, and killed many of his friends yet he continues to only stun them. I find this hard to believe in comparison to his immediate and brutal response to any other soldiers, using reductos to blow off heads comes to mind. I simply can't understand why you keep doing this. This chapter is a perfect example, these people have attacked a civilian center killing who knows how many, kidnapping many more, attempting to kill his wife (again) as well as the wife and child of his closest friend, yet still only stunners. Perhaps this is why lack of knowledge of Dune shining through, but I fail to understand why. Even Lilith who basically killed him (if not for an intervention), breaking all the Freman's religious codes in the process, is still alive.

Read it all in one day. You've woven a breathtaking net, and I applaud all the planning that went into this piece of fiction. Good job! Eagerly awaiting the next one.

Do you want to watch as Harry repeatedly blacks out due to "magic exhaustion"? Do you want to watch as Harry and his friends continuously make stupid decisions that are used to drive the plot? Then this story is for you!

i know this is a slow update story and i have no problem with that but i guess id like some reasurance that you will continue this 1 as its one of the cleverest AU's ive read so please continue this one to the finish and thank you for taking the time to share your imagination with us

Considering that one's mental capabilities has an effect on one's Magic, one wonders what Harry could be capable of if he had a Mentat's calculation capacity to understand and rework the thousands of Formulae of Spells in a moment as he wishes, the understanding of space/time of The Spacing Guild to aid in Apparition and the direct manipulation of space and time, the Bene Gesserit mastery of biology and psychic access to the knowledge of their predecessors...

I think you have great ideas going on, however... the pacing is too fast, things need to be fleshed out in regards to Harry entering this new world and time. He excepts his new fate without any thought to the life and friends he has left behind.

There also needs to be more interactions between Harry amd Paul from the beginning to build up their friendships. Remember Paul has only known adults to be his friends, it would be nice for a similar aged teen to develop a friendship with him before the choas that takes placd in Arrakis. And also, more interactions with lady Jessica.

For anyone who hasn't read Dune, you delve right into the events of the books, skipping scenes that would make a lot of things coherent to those who don't read.

also, there are some issues with your grammar that your betas have missed. I noticed many issues with commas not being placed, which is jarring to read.

Overall, I'm liking it, but yeah... I'm still feeling a bit underwhelmed. Hopefully things will get better.

I like the way you are ramping up the tension. So many plots and players all seeking advantage. I also like how you have built Harry into the story and history of the Bene Gesserit. Thank you for sharing your story

I am enjoying your writing and the way you have interwoven Harry Potter into Dune. I like the way you have built out the investigations by the Emperor and his team and I am enjoying the way Harry is taking on missions. The interactions with Paul sometimes seem a little rushed but that is a minor point. Thank you for sharing your story
