Glad Steve is there for Danny. He is just what he needs to help when Stan is throwing his money around. I know how Danny feels about not having money to get your kids something and someone else does.

So I know I'm about 6 months late reviewing this one, but I loved it so much I had to chime in. Oh my. SO funny! Steve definitely gets bonus points for knowing what second breakfast is and for calling Danny a hobbit. The interaction between Danny/Rachel/Stan was great - I loved how you had Danny explain why he was so upset, and Steve did awesome as Dr. Phil. :) You did a great job with Grace, and Steve "adapting" to his surroundings by dancing the hula was priceless!

The back-and-forth banter between Steve and Danny had me laughing out loud the whole way though, and I loved the allusions to Steve's different "faces". (Don't-make-me-come-after-you-face is probably a close second to aneurysm face as my favorite.) Kono as Ramboette made me laugh. And Danny's "thank you" at the end along with Steve's "I think it came out wrong" was perfect. Ha! Loved it. Thanks for sharing this story! :D

Wow I really liked this! Loved how you wrote Steve and Danny! And I think it makes the story more 'real' when personal experinces are incorporated into a story! Though I'd LOVE to see Danny riding a horse! I'd even go so far as to say I'd LOVE to teach him how to ride! ;) I have ridden my whole life, so that isn't as far fetched as it could sound! Thanks for the wonderful read!

Awesome story! Steve and Danny play off each other so well...it was like watching an episode of the show. Loved the image of Steve in a coconut bra and grass skirt doing the hula with little Grace...and Danny has it recorded! Mua ha ha ha ha ha! I foresee some blackmail in the future! Oh and may I say, I also now completely hate Step-Stan...what a douche. I'm glad Steve sussed him and his motives out for Danny and made him realize how important he is to Gracie.

I love this story! Congratulations on really getting the characters and dialog down superbly! Being an avid H5-0 fan, I could visualize each player in the story as if they were in front of me on the HDTV! Loved the story line - you portrayed Stan just the way I imagine him and the justification for why he buys all those presents for Grace is right on, IMO. Steve's point of view is well written and explored as well. Thanks for this neat story, and keep them coming! I've found you now and have put you on my "Subscribe to" list! What are your guesses for Rachel/Danny in S2?
