| Anonymous chapter 1 . 11/20/2011
I managed to get a 44% success rate, not sure if it is optimal though. Someone probably can do better than me
Anyway, great story.
Keep it up

Taaaaaayte! *hugz* It's been a while, I'm glad to see you again! GREAT story, I loved some of the lines like "I barely had enough time to remove the ring from the last chest before I hurled Lowen's beef stew where the ring used to be. (I never did get used to the hair-raising dives and neck-wrenching turns of a wyvern.)" XD XD XD So yeah, I chuckled a few times reading this fic. Nice work, my friend, thanks for writing this!
...I can't do the problem, though T_T It's been *years* since I took AP stats (and I think I only got a 3 on the exam ;_; XD)
| RawkHawk2.0 chapter 1 . 5/8/2011
Simple. Have Hector behead Eliwood, then the Hydra. You have now beheaded two heads, and Hector has a much higher hit chance than Eliwood.

| R Amythest chapter 1 . 5/7/2011
Cute. Seconding the other reviewer though, Thor's Ire raises critical percentage by 10%. And if I'm not misinterpreting this problem, the answer there is to have Hector try twice for 36% success... unless we're talking about turn count and time spent then, in which things get a little more complicated.
So, I liked the misleading nature of the ring here, the straightforwardness of the tactician, and goddammitUhai'sdodge. I also liked Legault's voice, which was very Legault.
| Brumhilde chapter 1 . 5/7/2011
Hahaha! That certainly is an unusual premise!
I like the humour in this story, like your not-so-feminine tactician and the fact that Legault has air-sickness (I always picture him as a little awkward since he appears to suck at making friends).
Just a little note, though, Thor's Ire increase the critical hit %, which I happen to know because I've played this very level yesterday and I also initially thought it affected the regular hit %. Interestingly enough, I discovered the truth when I tried in on Heath.
