OH MY GOD I DOWNLOADED THIS STORY ONTO A PAGES DOCUMENT AND SO FAR I'M ON CHAPTER 6.

Oilasjklfd;ajkld;jsakld this story is SOOOOO DAMN ADORABLE I CAN'T STOP FREAKING OUT I think I need to be tested. (I think it's partly because it's 2:56 AM right now and I get really hyper when I'm tired, especially when I read really cute fanfiction because I get jittery/excited/laughyyy)

I've actually never read Adventure Time fanfiction before; the thought crossed me today after I answered a question on my "Ask Smooth!LSP" blog on tumblr today.

I LOVE how you portray 17 year old Finn... I think I have a crush on him LOL

You did a fantastic job writing this story. I half expected it to be amateur writing, partly because a lot of the fanbase is full of 11 year old children -however I'm 16 and in no posistion to judge-

I'm not one for big speeches or tying beautiful sentences together, but I want you to know that this is easily one of the best things I have ever read in my entire life. I've read things like Harry Potter, LotR, Keys to the Kingdom, and so many more that I can't even think of because I can't stop thinking about your story. You had so many plot twists and turns and I laughed on many an occasion at how well you maintained their personalities and tied in jokes from the show. Oh my word. I'm freakin' out, man. It has been my utmost pleasure to be on the receiving end of this story, and I thank you.

Oh wow, this story was so amazing. It was perfect, I loved everything about it. I just got into Adventure Time (after spending years thinking it was a stupid show) and this is the first fanfic I've read for AT that I actually finished. I was skeptical that I could find a writer that could translate the show and all its oddities into such a well written story. I was very impressed by this story. You have the characters down perfect as well as the world. I loved all that stuff you added in about god and how this post-apocalyptic future came to be. That's very close to what I think happened.

I'm not a big Finn/Marceline fan, but the way you write them makes me love them in your story. Plus, when Finn gets older who knows whats going to happen so it's not like it's completely unimaginable.

The plot of this story was unbelievably good, and I love how Marceline became human again, that was brilliant! This is honestly up there with one of the best fics I've ever read, and certainly the best Adventure Time fic I have come across. I hope to read more of your stuff in the future!

Shrine

I have sacrificed valuable hours of my life, and of course sleep. In four hours I need to be in the university, and well. I think that all that time was worth it. I never entered the Adventure time file of Fanfiction because it is full of so much horrid things that frankly I just gave up.

You on the other hand, has gived me hope that they are jewels like this in the section, I enjoyed every hour, minute and second of my life that I gave on to read this story of yours. You even helped to cure the wound that the Adventure Time crew had created with their new plans on Finn.

Thank you for something so good to read, I just can't simply tell you how much I liked it in words. SO a simple Thank you it's the most I could do.

Haha, wow. Finn is a really brave asshole. The Ice Prince could have his head cut off for being so rude to PB. XD

The best part is when Jake and PB catch Finn and Marceline on the roof. Absolutely hilarious, with Jake trying not to laugh and Marceline being so nonchalant. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the canon, PB has only seen Finn's hair once, at night. I think that's very significant. Imagine that pleasant memory now being corrupted because of this. Ha.

I find it rather uncharacteristic of Finn to immediately consider the group of photos a dud when he sees that the second one is taken from before the Great Mushroom War. He doesn't even look through the rest of the photos; Marceline has to knock them onto the ground in order to get him to notice them. Isn't the whole point of the story Finn being excited about finding his origins? I understand that having a girlfriend can be really distracting, but still...

I have yet to see the Adventure Time episode about the old hero Billy. I guess I'd better go watch that one.

The story has been great so far. Great setup, well written, delightfully detailed, etc. You have over 200 reviews for this story already, so I'm sure I'm not really adding anything here.

There's just one thing. The story's pacing was PERFECT up to this point. Once Marceline suggests the party, it starts going a little faster. Not that I mind Marceline being in the picture, but let me explain. The age and height comparison scene was really good, considering Finn and Marceline were reuniting after what seemed like a long time. Then her throwing the party for him was really sweet.

I just think the romance started off a little too soon. When she kisses him differently than normal, for example. It makes sense, the way he put the pieces together (the height and age thing), but knowing Marceline, I don't think she would have instantly changed how she behaved towards him. Like Finn says, out of nowhere, they're now on the same level.

But honestly, that's really just a minor gripe. The story is still brilliant. I'm most interested in Finn's realization that Marceline was once a human.

I like this story a lot so far. Good job. :)

This is easily the best AT fanfic I've ever read. The characters, the plot, all of it was very well realized, and I look forward to future works.

This story has everything. It contains references to very many episodes with great attention to detail - all the material ties in accurately with the canon. The suspense in this work is gripping. The dialogue fits perfectly with the characters. The plot is very intense.

I have to say I love your writing style. You have superb grammar and your vivid descriptions flow naturally.

If I could get you published, this would be on the shelves.
