| CosmicAdventurer chapter 12 . 1/30 I love the progression and the banter and the emotion in this story so much :) I found it just last night, couldn't put it down, and I absolutely adore it. It's so well-balanced - a perfect blend of tension and release, angst and fluff. I love how Elena came to realize that she really loves Damon. I think your assessment, that she felt she couldn't admit to herself that she loves him because others relied on her too much, was correct for that period in TVD. I'm glad she got over it and allowed herself to be happy, and thus, allowed him to be happy, as well. What a lovely tale you wrote. |

| zaubernuss chapter 12 . 10/28/2019 I loved your Damon! He was spot on and his interiour monologue so funny! Contrary to that, I didn't like Elena quite so much. I couldn't see what made her special to Damon - everything is always about her, her wishes and her feelings. She never did anything for HIM, and this made it hard to understand why he was so smitten with her in the first place. She's the just the average 17 year old girl who doesn't know herself yet, so I guess I have to forgive her. Damon alone was definitely worth the read. |
