So much. I think I read this long ago but it’s just all the real, all the beauty. I’m a child of that time and the Smiths, and it’s a lovely heartache. So glad you didn’t end up with that unhappy ending it’s was hinting at at times.

I love this story!

I read this many years ago and it’s always had such a special place in my heart. It’s simply beautiful and when I saw the companion piece, I knew I had to reread TiaL so here I am, in awe of you and the world you’ve created once again. No doubt I’ll be back again.

Now THAT'S what I call a good plot twist. It is surprising yet believablr. Well done!

...I don't know what to say. Sure. Bella doesn't have an easy life at that point. But she's never socialised with her peers so why is she disappointed that no one is helping her? She isn't the kind of person who would run up to help a random stranger that has no meaning to her. From my perspective Bella's and Edward's relationship is toxic. She clearly has Daddy Issues.

How could she not know Stravinsky? She knew about all those scene bands...maybe I'm just so surprised because I'm such a hoe for Russian composers. They were pretty much the rock stars of their time.

Oh wow. I consider myself pretty inexperienced but even at 20 I wouldn't get into a car with a 31 year old I just met. Especially if that car had tinted windows and it was nighttime and a deserted area. This entire scenario screams "high-risk behaviour" at the very least.
