Oh, I forgot she would have been in charge! Yes, she would have felt terribly guilty. Ooo, good use of prompt too. "She would grieve, she decided, and then she would return to her duties." If that's not Minerva McGonagall in a nutshell, I don't know what is.

It's no surprise my favorite line is "She felt oddly tranquil, the way she always did when faced with an emergency." It's the little details that make this one: this being the only photo out, Minerva's reluctant smile, Poppy in her training robes.
