Truly captures the essence of movies from the 40s. Enjoying this. Carry on.
Blackout girl was new to me.
Funny cause as a young teen watching those movies I just got what they meant.

Loved Brenda Starr.
The plot continues to thicken.

Hated the Rooney/Garland movies. I was a Gable/Grant girl and Rosalind Russell/Hepburn/Lombard gal when I watchef those classics.

Learned some new terms.
Wondering what the younger readers are making of this. I can relate more to this. My parents were kids then. Is this after WWII?

Oh I feel old. Knew most except mud for coffee. I blame all those classic movies from the 40s. I see E as Clark Gable and B as Rosalind Russell.

I watched tons of movies from the 40s so no translation needed. LOL. Perry White from Superman comics used to say Great Ceasar's ghost I think. (Wish my mom had saved my comics from the late 60s).
| ClancyJane chapter 3 . 8/10/2013
I hear Katherine's voice throughout. For the life of me though I can only picture Cary Grant in Edward's role, even if it's Spencer I hear :)
| ClancyJane chapter 2 . 8/10/2013
I forgot what an obnoxious jerk Edward is :)
