Okay, this was a great character study of Spock. I never thought of facial expressions as a second language. But now I have a greater appreciation for Spock learning to read facial expressions and body language, even when he doesn't return them. And the part with Taye? Adorable. I could just picture that toothless, goofy grin, and Spock's reaction to it. This was a wonderful story. I'm gonna keep it. Thanks so much.

Excuse me for laughing ;D Oh Spock, you put up with so much All that smiling, poor dear! :D That was awesome Matt :) I adore the line: 'it didn't feel like it' after everything about instinctual and primal... because I read that a while ago and was a bit disturbed by it. That it's all a trick for survival but... maybe it's not just that. Anyway, loved it loved it loved it :D I was smiling so hard myself. My god, Spock with and kind of child melts my heart ;)
