Imagine pairing Harry to Bachelor Chow girl. The only place I've ever seen this pairing was on canon and it crashed and burnt there. Not even fanfics use this pairing now.

Did you rewrite the story from the beginning? I remember I bookmarked the story in 2017, and in the part where they kissed wasn't exactly like this. I remembered they kissed because they were under the influence of the failed potion. I did not see any author notes detailing that you have rewritten the story.

Honestly, this Harry is a complete tool. How hard is it to pass the correct ingredients at the time they're supposed to be passed? And then he has the gall to get angry over being called an idiot. He sounds like a whiny little bitch. What a complete moron, made me dislike him right from the start.

I literally cannot stand Ron’s dialogue so much that I am stopping reading. Where did you get that nonsense? He never spoke that way anywhere - not in canon, the movies or any other fanfic I have ever read. It’s ridiculous.

Where did you ever come up with this stupid accent and dialect for Ron? He has never been depicted that way. His speech is as normal as Harry’s and Hermione’s when he doesn’t have food in his mouth.

Daphne is such a badly written and toxic witch in this story. Combined with the descriptives, it makes this story unpleasant to continue any further.

Interesting story. Not sure if its the result of the many edits/revisions mentioned in this last update, but your timeline for this story seems to get lost within itself at times. Early on Harry and eon are talking in lass and Harry has a thought about Cho coming back soon, but shortly after that thought and in the same class/conversation Ron mentions Cho's looking for him and Harry says he knows, which seems impossible because its portrayed as the first class of the day and Harry skipped breakfast i think. And then the end of the story seems to end like a month after new years. Now this one could be an editing/formatting thing, but you show them getting back from the holidays, mention spring is in the air, which might imply the story jumps months, but then you seem to reference the return as just yesterday or the other day when Daphne is invited to hang out in the common room after hours. Events unfold and then a week later they are taking their O.W.L.s and they go to the ministry. You can call this "bitching about continuity," but it's still how the story came across as I was reading it through. Just seemed a little off.

All that being said, I did enjoy the story overall. I liked the relationship you built with them, and you wrote your villains really well (really hated them for how they were treating people at times, which seems like good writing to me haha). Well done overall and thanks for sharing!

I like how the chapter showed how much Daphne has changed and how she doesn't seem to fit in with the Slytherin crowd anymore. That made the title fit really well. I have a feeling that Daphne won't shed "The Ice Queen" title for a long time though...she may act like it's not her anymore, but I can see her using it again to protect/defend herself.

I just wanted to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this story. You can tell a lot of passion went into making it and when I saw that there were more stories in this series I became incredibly excited! Thank you for a wonderful story that I couldn't put down.
