| Obloquious chapter 26 . 11/23/2013
I certainly must thank you for redoing this story. While I did enjoy the original version, I hadn't realized how it began to drag on until I got a good bit into this one. This version is definitely more fleshed out with a lot of trimmed fat. Thank you for taking the time to rework this story.

I bet hiashi feels like he's stepped into some twilight zone.
I know I have.
| Guest chapter 9 . 10/24/2013
I can't tell you how much I was Squealing when Hiashi finally learnt his place.
I hope things get better for Hinata soon. :D

lOVED THE ENTIRE THING! I'm favoring.
| Sophie-SSS chapter 26 . 6/30/2013
Oh well, what can I say after this? This fanfic was amazingly, incredibly well-written. It surpassed all my expectations. Congratulations.

it would have progressed the relationship better if naruto saved her
| zeonista13 chapter 26 . 6/6/2013
Yeah, there will definitely be obstacles. Kishimoto has made sure canon NaruHina development waited until Naruto was beyond reproach as a suitor. However in the early days of the story? Yeah, right, Hiashi would NEVER have let his daughter date the village outcast. Even if in this case she may not be his true daughter. Neji doing his duty (as he sees it) has earned him a beatdown by Naruto in the future. Sasuke, again, was not as big a tool as usual. It's not like he wants to deny Naruto happiness, he just wants to be stronger, which I suppose means something. :P
| zeonista13 chapter 25 . 6/6/2013
Damn, that was cold; you will be flirting with Sasuke-kun bashing again. That is, if sasuke didn't deserve it. Sharingan are the beginning, not the end, of the Uchiha. To be objective, Neji really was better than Sasuke at the time of the chuunin exams, but that was because neji had a clan supporting his training, and a team to help him. Sasuke was short on both counts. So when Naruto defeated Neji in the arena, he also defeated Sasuke, Pity Sasuke wasn't there to see it... So Sasuke was arrogant, got called on it, and Neji rubbed his face in it. That wasn't very nice, but maybe he knew some people need an ass-beating to see reality. (I've known a few such people; I bet you have too)
Oh yes, the fake SasuNaru was hilarious, only abetted by Kakashi's jibes. :D

Heh, first kiss NaruHina fluff, all the better for them being all Romeo & Juliet about it. :) What's to be confused by this in a story? Ah yes, that thing called "plot development" and "character development". Whatever is being taught in the schools these days? Haku earns his life in this scene, which otherwise would have ended poorly. Lee, despite his hammy acting, is a better gentleman than Neji. Tenten is a good friend. ;)

Regarding your author's note, I think there is more to a character relationship and romance than holding hands and having lots of sex. That comes after Naruto & Hinata have come to understand and accept each other, not before. I am no prude, but the so-called "sexual revolution" turned romance and relationship-building on its head. having the characters take a tumble to assure readers that they are in a "relationship" and THEN try to go from there results only in many of the sordid messes I witnessed as a teen and young(er) adult. If you want to take the NaruHina slow train, that's fine by me!
Oh and anonymous reviewers are cowards. If you're not going to sign your name, any name, to your views, what's the point of giving them?
Some necessary clean-up here. Neji still sucks at reading people, although he's looking out for Hinata too. Sasuke still sucks at following the path to power, but he's not as big a tool for right now. Kakashi indirectly smacks Naruto with confusing justice and vengeance...just like Sasuke. When I was Naruto, I didn't understand the difference either. Neither did my head-taking Irish and Sots-Irish ancestors. It's a lesson that has to be learned and re-learned. I can trust Naruto to learn it, though. ;)

Well, you had Zabuza face his fate with the shadow of his honor again, so kudos to you. Haku lived, which was unexpected, thought he would get crushed by the Kyuubi state. Zabuza might have understood Naruto better than he let on, though. Gato, ugh, kill him and get it over with. Kakashi's actions made sense, since it was not the first time he had to deal with battle-mad subordinates, right?
| zeonista13 chapter 21 . 6/6/2013
Heh, Kakashi is a clever fellow, pointing Sasuke at an objective that will help him and get him out of the way. (And incidentally not get him scarred for life by seeing Naruto in action. ;) ) Zabuza knows the truth, and accepts it. Karma, nee?
| zeonista13 chapter 20 . 6/6/2013
Aww, Sasuke stopped being a tool, how nice! Good thing too, at least he chose well, although having the realization he was ignored last time must have hurt him. The cavalry arrives late as usual, although Naruto is done being the nice guy. One again Gato goes Too Far. His kind, more used to hitting than being hit, never know when to stop. :)
| zeonista13 chapter 18 . 6/6/2013
Even NaruHina fans can forget that Hinata can be just as dangerous as the rest of her peers. She doesn't like to hurt others, she doesn't like to kill others, and she hates being the center of attention. But make her choose between life and death (or Naruto's life) and Hinata springs to lethal action. Like in this chapter. I'm pretty sure canon Hinata is still a virgin for the same reason you've given. Naruto is her first love, and he gets to be her first man. Anyone else is unworthy and will be punished...
| zeonista13 chapter 17 . 6/6/2013
More NaruHina fluff, rudely interrupted by Zabuza and friends. *sigh* Well it wasn't total fluff, at least Naruto is learning something about the clans, and Hinata is learning something about self-reliance and true self-esteem. Zabuza's reward for interrupting this lovely idyll is to meet Naruto's tenant, who owes him rent. :) Now as for Sasuke this chapter, Naruto was correct, but he had the wrong end of the point. Sasuke thinks about his CLAN, but he should be thinking of KONOHA. It is his loyal service to Konoha that will have him grow in experience and power, until he faces Itachi with strong comrades at his side, his sensei ready to give aid and advice, and the mission scroll to give his vendetta legal sanction and reward. Trying to do it all by himself only got him to his status in canon, and even then he didn't understand until meeting Itachi for the third time...
