LOL I just realized Gawain was probably one of the first feminists
Amazing as usual :)
| Seor chapter 21 . 3/3
This chapter made me nearly cry and smile and laugh, often within the same minute. /She was still awake when they set the room on fire/ was heartbreaking. I love how you expanded the Other Worlds even more. Thank you thank you thank you, I'm getting my post-ST fix from your wonderful writing and story-telling.

The Rhience and Luneta, Lynet and Gaheris ones are so precious
| Seor chapter 18 . 3/3
Ahh this fic made me have a bit of an existential crisis myself haha. I don't think I could handle Dinadan's life(ves) as well as he does. Oh, and to be sure, this chapter isn't a direct sequel to the previous stream-of-consciousness chapter is it? I think Gavin and Toby were classmates in the other one.
| Seor chapter 17 . 3/3
and thank you for mentioning ywain and his lioness
was the fighter sitting with arthur kai?
your insight into all these private moments and background scenes is touching and brilliant (i think i've said that a few times about this fic lol)
thank gods morris let everyone go to avalon after, it's painful enough knowing there's a happy ending for the dead, i can't imagine what it'd be like if we /didn't/ know

! LKKJ D ? ? F?DKK JSL?J!? KEYBOARDSMASHING IS THE ONLY WAY OF RELIEVING MY FEELINGS. THIS WAS /AMAZING/ AND IL OVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. GAWAIN AS MAIDEN'S KNIGHT! EILEEN BEING AWESOME AND BOSS! TERENCE AS WOODSMAN! BUFFOON KNIGHTS!
| Seor chapter 15 . 3/3
I'm reading this in class and I have the most ridiculous grin on my face my colleagues must think I'm mad!
| Seor chapter 14 . 3/3
Can I just say, apart from the usual gushing I feel towards your writing, that was a brilliantly written battle scene :)
| Guest chapter 26 . 3/3
Dare I say it? That was one of your best chapters. You've got a perfect, perfect handle on both Gawain and Terence... and Eileen too, actually. *applauds vehemently* That was great. I loved it.
| Seor chapter 7 . 3/2
Can I just say how much I love your characterizations. I love your explanation behind Arthur's-roaring-while-knighting Terence, which was already really funny to read in SQ. Your writing about how Merlin gave Arthur a heads-up about Terence is all but canon for me :D While I was reading the series, I never really imagined that Arthur would have doubts about Terence's identity. Not that he knew that the squire was the Duke of Avalon per se, but that he was definitely more than he appeared, and very Otherwordly.

That was absolutely adorable. They are sooo cute together, and Gawain is awesome. (Also, I was thrilled this had updated! I whooped a bit.)
| FredNeverDied chapter 26 . 3/2
Love it! Especially poor Terence getting turned on by his wife slicing deer throats. Only them
| Zarz chapter 21 . 1/11
17-19 are horrifying, of course, but at the same time I'm glad. We get to see Terence and the other knights all off fighting for their king and their country, and Lynet and Gaheris stopping Morgause, but we don't know what happened to Eileen other than she was one of the ladies carrying the bier at the end. It's nice to think that she wouldn't have gone quietly, though I hope her death was as quick as Terence's.
20-25 are sad - I feel so bad that Robin doesn't get to properly appreciate Terence and the others all finally being Home for good. It's nice that he gets to at least still visit, though. Any chance we'll see a sequel to Wildflower Promises at some point, with Terence getting to comfort Robin in return, though pointing out that as a half-human who was born and raised in the World of Men, he did have to die there in order to fully gain life in Avalon. It would be really nice to see Terence recognizing and honoring the sacrifice Robin made for him.
38-40 are just fun - I can entirely see Robin going around causing problems for anyone who dares bother his Duke, and Terence finding himself almost more exasperated by Robin's "help" than by the Lord or Knight in the first place. I don't suppose this one could get turned into a full story, too? I know the books aren't very positive towards revenge, but it would be awesome to see someone get just a bit of comeuppance - and maybe gain some newfound appreciation for the squire that keeps Camelot and her King in one piece. (And how did those knights who don't underestimate the squire who has the king's ear learn not to do that?) For that matter, seeing Terence go after a Knight or Lord for causing problems for another one of the servants would be just as lovely. I wonder what kind of "discouragement" a half-faery, unnoticed (and unnoticable) squire with the help of Robin could achieve?
Amazing work! It's hard to believe how much can be conveyed in just these short ficlets, but you've done it wonderfully!

Fun! I love all your stories, and the Slice of Life ones are especially great, as I get all these different pieces of stories for the price of one (so to speak)!
I have to confess, though, for Heavy - I'm not quite making the connection about why Gawain isn't scared anymore. Is it because water can be a gateway to the Other World, or is there a more specific moment in the books which I'm blanking on that leads to this?
And for Voice, I love the references both in this and in The Damsel, the Duke, and the Knight about how Terence's voice changes between Squire and Duke. Now I'm having visions of Terence getting really annoyed at some meeting of the Round Table, or with a lot of Lords, and starting to tell them all off for their idiocy in his Duke voice. Any chance we'll ever see something like that happening? Though I suppose Terence is usually far too controlled for that. Pity.
Any chance you'll do a Slice of Life III at some point, and if so, do you need more prompts? I'd love to see some more of these. My votes would be "Purple", "Light", "Boots", and "Trickster." Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what else you write, in this or any other story!
