*can't read fast enough of the story as it's too good*
Actually, I'm very surprised that you haven't tied in Warehouse 13 into your universe. It would fit in perfectly.

Great fic, when are you going to make the sequel to this fic?
| Marcus S. Lazarus chapter 10 . 6/22/2012
Intriguing plot, I’ll give you that.
As with the best ‘Modern LXG’ fics, your new League was generally well-chosen, with each member of the team contributing something unique that would aid the rest of their team in confronting the threat facing them; the scale of the death caused by the Dalek theft of Earth was a bit extreme for my taste, but the most of the survivors you selected made sense (The fan in me feels that Spider-Man should have survived thanks to his spider-sense warning him, but the reasoning for Xavier surviving makes sense).
Still, the nature of the crisis they’re facing remains excellent, science and magic coming together in a masterful manner as the Doctor faces a threat that he could only just contain with the aid of wizards in the past, forcing him to work with both sides of the ‘equation’ as he has to conquer a Dalek threat he previously contained with additional support by relying on other allies into the bargain.
Plus, of course, some of your minor fascinating ideas were brilliant in their simplicity; not only do you have Dante’s knowledge of Middle-Earth- as well as the Doctor and Daniel’s insights into how Middle-Earth fits into a world history that includes the Ancients, but there’s also such moments as Rowena Ravenclaw’s encounter with the TARDIS of a very particular Time Lady, the nature of Gryffindor’s test- I assume he would have stepped in if Harry had failed in his ‘assigned task’?-, and the traps and twists of Slytherin’s tomb were exceptional (Hufflepuff’s ghost was a surprise, but the reasoning for her staying behind made a certain sense).
A bit ambiguous about a couple of details of the final battle- the Latverian forces being so close when the League were expecting to deal with a small platoon of Daleks seemed a bit off to me, and I still think Harry should have more explicitly informed Doom that he wouldn’t help him take over anything even if he might think over the invitation to return at some point-, but in general everything worked, particularly the Doctor’s momentary temptation when faced with the Progenitor Device and Iron Man’s near-sacrifice.
However, even if I like the basics of your explanation for why the TARDIS can’t go to Hogwarts, the idea of science and magic being ‘opposed’ to each other doesn’t work; the Seventh Doctor stated in ‘Battlefield’ that not only does Clarke’s Law actually apply, but the reserve is also true as advanced magic is indistinguishable from science, to the point that the Doctor is Merlin in at least one alternate timeline (And the idea that Dumbledore ‘expected’ Harry to die doesn’t work; the plan was that Voldemort would never take command of the Elder Wand as its power would die with Dumbledore thanks to his plan with Snape, with Harry surviving Voldemort’s attacks with a normal wand thanks to his connection to Voldemort).
Still, all in all, a good story with some VERY interesting hints at sequel potential with the implied loose ends as the League return to their lives; keep up the good work!

you forgot sherlock homles and chuck norris :3 I liked it, you know except for the ginny part but doctor who made up for it!
| WynterRavenheart chapter 10 . 2/28/2012
Oh my this was wonderful! I loved who you put in the League, and how you fit them!
Also, that epilogue gave me chills! A Dalek seeing Harry in the mirror of Erised? I have thoughts on what that could mean for them but still!
Any chance of a sequel?
