| general zargon chapter 1 . 1/24/2013
LOL. I have a feeling John's going to pay for the sandwich line! :P This fic was really funny, though like John I'm lost as to what teacups have to do with anything, and I hope you write more for this fandom! Please keep up the excellent work! :)

"How would you like a VCR?" I WOULD LIKE ONE VERY MUCH. I can't. I CAN'T. *giggles hysterically* Oh, /Sherlock/. John Watson is a /saint/. 333
| SupernaturalGeek chapter 1 . 8/19/2011
That was quite hilarious :)
I really liked how it went from the mundane of John watching TV and wondering what Sherlock was up to in the hallway to the tension of the fight and poor John's confusion about what exactly was going on. The fact Sherlock had genuinely tried to be thoughtful and keep John out of it, in deference to his injured shoulder, but ended up getting him right in the middle of things regardless was just priceless and such a Sherlock-thing to happen *g*
Both of them were completely in character, particularly during the explanation. I really did chuckle at John's indignation that Sherlock can text during a fight but not under normal circumstances!
There were many lines that made me laugh out loud but I chose this as my favourite in the end because it was such a typical Sherlock and John conversation;
"Oh, I didn't want to bother you with it. Sorry about the antics." He pointed at the unconscious man. "I didn't want you to know about this one."
"This one? There've been more homicidal teacup people in the flat?"
I really enjoyed this.

I nearly died when Sherlock asked John if he would like a VCR hilarious!

Heh this was wonderful. Love the refs to his shoulder and 'how would you like a VCR'? Hahaha!
| Catrina Marlow chapter 1 . 6/12/2011
Well, in A Study in Pink Sherlock did text in the middle of running after the taxi to tell Angelo that John had left his walking stick in the restaurant, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised he texted in middle of a ruckus!
I worked in a library - never had a bloody Dictionary returned, thank goodness!
Good writing :)

"It's a kind of sandwich."
Very nice and amusing. Well done. Enjoyed the little rant about the tea and the phone.
| Neosatsuma chapter 1 . 6/11/2011
Haha, very good. Very Sherlock and John. Very in character.
"His voice took on an urgency I'd never heard in regards to needing a dictionary."
That's got to be my favorite line. XD
I somehow doubt that Sherlock would really believe John when he told him that a VCR was a sandwich, but that second-to-last line was hilarious all the same.
