This is one of the best pieces of writing I've ever read, period. Seriously, well done, it's amazing. I know it's been ages, but if you ever decide to finish it, I'd love to see what happens.

I think it's the first time in my long history of reading fanfics I couldn't stop reading no matter the cost to my health. Who cares about sleeping when you read something as deliciously written and twisted as this? I adore your fic. I hope you'll update someday, but I'm just so happy I was able to feast on 27 chapters of this. Thank you so much!
| epipole chapter 27 . 8/31/2015
Thanks for writing!
I hope it will be continued

I actually wish that I, for all my prowess and love-affair-ing with the English language, could come up with the words to describe how truly, amazing, splendidly SPECTACULAR this fix is.
I wish I could, but I really can’t. This whole thing, from the second paragraph to the last, utterly heartbreaking sentence I just read, is, well . . . I mean, wow.
Damn. Shit. Fuck. Holy Explicative.
You’re a talented writer. Obviously. And insanely so, if I might be so clumsy as to add. You weave words with an intricacy that only those ‘true’ writers can — wonderfully verbose, excellent phrasing, spacing, grammar. All of the technical things.
But more than that, you’re an honest-to-God storyteller. This isn’t just a case of me liking an idea and thusly falling in love with a story from the basis. Everything about this fic was about presentation, working, and honesty. Ironic, for a tale that’s all of distraught and lies, I suppose, but, well, there you are.
This was just . . . Flawless. Seamless, and perfect. The whole concept — dubious consent, negligent abduction, slash and the end of the world — is a tremendously hard thing to write, difficult to capture the emotions and interweave character traits with such a dark AU, but . . . Well, you’ve been more than successful. Every second of this has been an emotional roller-coaster, a thrill-ride of sexual assault (sorry to describe it as such, but, well . . .) and misplaced affection, loss of old emotions in the search of new ones. Every time Charles and Erik have a conversation, you can feel the tension (sexual and brotherly) crackling in the air, mystery torn away and lies stacked upon lies covering the truth bearing face as the two battle for dominance (which, if I may be honest, is hot as all fucking HELL). I mean, I totally root for Magneto, every time he tries to touch or manipulate or humiliate Charles . . . but the way you’ve written the telepath is equally delicious, too. I can’t get enough of them.
And, of course, I love the way you’ve brought in the other characters, too. Emma as a wretched sidekick, Azazel as a lovelorn guard, and even (especially) Beast as a young man old before his time, wrought with indecision about whether to save humanity or his fellows and friends. It’s absolutely stunning, the web you’ve made of head-canon and canon-verse from First Class (which, FYI, I ADORE that you acknowledge the existence of; it was a good movie!), and I don’t hesitate to say that this is definitely one of the best stories it has ever been my pleasure to read on here.
I am sorry I didn’t go through and review each chapter individually. That would have subjected you to a lot of pointless fangirling, and tedious reading, since the few reviews I leave are at least this long by the end. I’m a babbler, alas.
Well . . . Sorry for the creep-rant. I just wanted to congratulate you on the stupendous effort and talent that made this fix a reality, and than you profusely for sharing it. I am going to mosey over to LJ and see if there’s any more to it, of course, but, well . .. No matter how this all came to an end, it was (is) a work of art. I adore this. Thank you so much for this.

Wow, this was one of the best written fan fics I have ever read. I dont really know what to say, I know I have to tell you how amazing this was to read. Through out reading this, I had to force myself to stop so I could sleep or take a break. It was impossible to stay away. I'm honestly surprised at all the different emotions I got reading this, the last chapter was like finishing something you don't won't to end. Hope you read this review and know that you are a really talented writer

Even though you haven't updated this in ages, I just wanted to say that this really is one of the most lovely Cherik fics I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Your diction and characterization is flawless, and the developments you made were superbly thought out. If you ever decide to come back and finish this (maybe days of future past inspired you some?) I know that I-and I'm sure many other readers as well-would love to know the conclusion of this story.

Hello again, I keep hoping to see you update this story. I will continue to watch and hope that you will once more feel inspired/have a chance to write. It has so many of the elements I enjoy. World-building, dystopia, slow-build, plotting, powerful Erik, Charles in trouble and distress but NOT portrayed as being weak, and well-written.
I will continue to check and hope.

Nooo it can't just end like that! Please come back and write at least some little epilogue or something! :) This is definitely one of the best fanfics I've read.

Hi, me again, time for my gentle but annoying nudge once more. I understand life gets overwhelming, stuff happens, and you lose your thread of the story. I know it gets really hard to sit down (either because there is no time, or because the muse has found another shiny object, or because you get uncertain of whether or not you can get back to the story you started) and write at times. So, I do understand if you never have a chance to come back to this. But it is a fricking good story damnit. And I really, really hope you can come back and update someday. Yes, I will continue to leave reviews to guilt you :) Because you got my hooked on this well-written, wonderfully built story and cutting me off is cruel! I thank you for it though. And once again, I do understand if you can't update, but I sincerely hope you do. Please?
