This would be a much more interesting story had Harry found the armlet, say, the summer after Sirius's death. Dealing with Quirrel and starting at the beginning left this kinda blah.

A marvelous story i say. Though, I don't understand why so many people hate on this. Your creation for my opinion, is actually one of the rare GOOD stories out in fanfiction than the other "renditions." honestly why can't people simply enjoy a good fanfic and not flame on it like a simple troll.

The twist with Lockhart was thought provoking, but I don't know that a younger Tom would dare create another version of himself. I guess there could be a level of connection between them so one would not feel superior to the rest.

I did not enjoy this chapter so much as I did all the previous chapters but that was probably mainly because long descriptions of how magic works are not my personal cup of tea. However, the thought and work you must have put into creating your version of magic and Arithmancy is impressive. Also this story repeatedly has shown that the fertility and scope of your imagination and your planning are all way above average for a fanfiction writer, so you get congratulations and an O for that. I do think that you need a Brit-picker though, as the characters frequently say or think words and phrases that are American English but are not used in British English.

maybe your spellcrafting is neat, i dont know but i just cant bring myself to appreciate it. Basically because i dont like your magic system. For me magic has always been something so.. im not sure how to really put it but "basic", that can become anything. So with a clear picture of what you want and enough power you can bend reality to whatever you want. And in the HP universe i highly doubt the first magic users used wands so how did they do magic before then? the wand is obviously nothing but a way to "cheat". you dont really visualize what you want to do but just basically want something and because youve been told this does, it happens. So what im trying to say i guess is that arithmancy is bullshit and works only because people have been told it works. Thats boring to me. Rant over.

how does one frozen in absolute zero break out? this isnt a game where it is required for you to be able to break out of things like that so you can continue playing. Thus, how? i know the author wont be able to respond to me since i dont have an account but just think about that one, and its not as simple as "magic". he is frozen, his brain is currently not functional thus he cant direct it.

great.. another story where Snape can bully students and nobody gives a shit... if people reading it can see waht a complete ass and how unprofessional he is why cant people who are there see it?

Fantastic story. I liked it very much. I do however want to bitch slap that smug Fawks. A supposedly light sided entity calls in a favor with a very unfavorable ratio. Fawks favor lifting him up and past Fluffy does NOT equate to Killing a rune protected VoldeLock, killing a 1000 year old Basilisk, then defeating another power possessed VoldeFoy.

ANYHOW, great story, Fawks needs a slapping.
