I noticed that potter and black are able to dish out nasty pranks on others but when it hppens to them they can't take it i wonder if in J K Rowlings books the reason dumbledore never did anything about potter being a bully is because he was his godfather or great friends with his parents

Okay, just because I've gotten through a lot of the chapters already. I don't like canonical Teenage James Potter. We know very little about him as a young adult so I have no true opinion of him other than he tried to protect his family which any good family man should do so I don't see that as something to toot a horn about. Admire but that's it.

What kind do of throws me for a loop in this AU is how it has made villains out of Gryffindor , thus simply flipping canonical Slytherin for Gryffindor. Blood purity can be viewed by both as true for purposes of this AU, but "good" ones as you called it back in chapter 2 would be more like canonical slughorn. Implicit biases/racism. This is "oh, she was great, for a muggle-born" comment he made to Harry in book 6.

I think what I'm really bothered with is the very cartoon villain nature of your antagonist. Kids are mean, definitely, but much of what happens here seems a much for a couple of 13 year olds.

I don't like James Potter but you've basically made him an even worse Malfoy. Which, as much as I dislike the marauders because I don't like pranksters. Generally, aside from Severus who didn't deserve to be a target "because he existed", their pranks were much like the Weasley twins. Mostly harmless to everyone except those they didn't really like.

Finally Potter gets expelled, Mulciber got expelled after just those few things and Potter has done way more things and only got expelled now. Truly shows how biased Dumbledore still is.
