![]() ![]() Please update |
![]() ![]() All I can say is 'Wow!'. Your style of writing is one I have seen very rarely. It touches you to the point where you understand and empathise with the main character even when you're expressing it in so few words. Its like your words are weaving a magic web and everything Naruto feels I feel with the same intensity of emotion. I swear I teared up when Lee told Naruto he respects him...you express these emotions so well. Well done! I just wished you revealed Jiraiya's feelings towards Naruto being his godfather and all...but its still brilliant even if you decide not to emphasis on that relationship. |
![]() ![]() Are you ever going to update... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This has been a great read. I definitely look forward to more |
![]() ![]() "Rise of the Uchiha" is in my top 3 best Naruto fanfictions. The characters are much better in this than they were in the canon. Hell, the plot is better. The characters in this are more likeable. Don't get me wrong some of them are still assholes. But not in a way that makes you want to smack them. Naruto seems more mature and makes you want to root for the Uchiha because of his vision for the future of Konoha and his teammates Akemi and Takeshi are two of the best original characters I've seen in a fanfiction. Most original characters I've read about especially female characters felt slightly or greatly overdone, as if author was trying too hard. I also liked how you portrayed Sakura. She's not that weak, useless kunoichi who's always fawning over that bastard known as Sasuke Uchiha. She actually takes her role as a ninja seriously. Of course that was because she never really met him and her family is enslaved. But all I'm saying is your Sakura is better than Kishimoto's. Speaking of Sasuke, even he is not that irritating either. He actually stays as his somewhat cheerful self from when he was a kid. Not that "cool" genius who's just a prick that cares only about his revenge and nothing else. Talk about single minded. I understand that Itachi has been a bad brother for leading Sasuke into a life like that, but does he really have to be a douche? I never really hated Itachi in the canon, but at the same time I didn't really like him either. But I started to like him when his true intentions were revealed. Even before I knew the truth, I had a suspicion that he wasn't really a bad person. That's the reason why I hated fanfictions that make him seem like this emotionless killer, who doesn't care about his brother at all. Inside and out. I believed he was more complicated than that. I'm glad you didn't make Itachi like that. You did a very good job making Madara a complicated character. He actually cares about Naruto as if he was his own son rather than a weapon, and he wanted to make Naruto's vision come true. This shows Madara isn't truly evil. But when you read other sides of the story told from other characters point of view such as Hinata, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Itachi, and the Orphaned 6, it shows that Madara isn't entirely good either. Now Hinata is an interesting one. It's not that I don't like Hinata in the canon. Maybe part one she was somewhat irritating, but I liked her in part two. Hinata in this story however, she starts off as one of those timid, quiet, submissive people, into a bold, determined, and vengeful person. Now this surprised me because I was used to the shy and quiet Hinata. Seeing her the way she is in this story was very surprising. Normally I don't like surprises, but I liked this one. Besides, in chapter 43 I liked the quote from "Gladiator" she used. It was really badass. Now I've never seen Gladiator, but my parents did so that's how I know the quote. And the way she convinced Tsunade to remove the seal, I applaud you. I think Hinata is my favorite character now. But most importantly I want to comment on your choice of words you used move the story along. I was really impressed by it. I became slightly jealous because I could never tell a story in such a beautiful way. And the strategies the characters use are really clever, though sometimes I don't really understand what's happening exactly. "Rise of the Uchiha" is really well written, and I hope you continue it. I want to see how it ends. I don't care how long it takes however. Taking your time shows your putting an effort to satisfy the readers with a good story. And I just want to point out that along with Hinata. Sasuke, Zabuza, and Sevaron are also my favorite characters because they are really funny. |
![]() ![]() Okay, I've never seen Les Miserables because I don't like musicals. So I looked up a lyric video in another window, so I could hear what it sounded like. It was really cool. Then I played it again this time reading the lyrics in the fanfiction. And it was really funny, but a little depressing at the same time. XD |
![]() ![]() "I am the savior of Konoha. Daughter of a murdered father, heiress of an enslaved clan. And I will have my vengeance...in this life or the next." I LOVE THAT LINE! IT IS SO BADASS! :D |
![]() ![]() I got both the movie quote, and the historical reference. The quote "I am not left handed" is from "The Princess Bride", and when Haku said "The pen is mightier than the sword" was a reference to Ida B. Wells. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story. Love your Zabuza, and all the other characters for that matter. Can't wait to see what naruto does next. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Question is 'Madara' tobi? |
